What are some signs a girl is just messing with your head??

So, Iām a woman⦠Iām a gay woman. The problem is I keep running into women that flirt with me but seemingly arenāt actually interested. They throw out inclinations to want sex with me but then they mention they either have a boyfriend or are only interested in dating men. Iāve even given oral sex to a woman that wouldnāt reciprocate.
Itās hard to find women that are actually interested in other women. Iāve had plenty of sex with women and have been interested in 3 same sex relationships that have shown me otherwise. But ever since I moved to ATLANTA 2 years ago, Iāve only been encountering ābisexualā women that just want some head.
I donāt mind that⦠but Iām looking for women who want to spend time with me. Itās been hard. They like to flirt but itās just for fun and I canāt keep falling for that.
When Iām interested in a woman, itās hard to get her off my mind. So, in a way it feels unfair because I donāt think any of these women actually care about my feelings even. I fall way too hard and fast.
I just want a girlfriend, but I havenāt found a single woman in Atlanta seems to actually be interested⦠like genuinely interested. It sucks cause I moved here to date and havenāt gotten any dates.
Iām also not on dating apps cause I only matched with straight women seeking threesomes with their boyfriends. That was traumatic asf.

I got over my old work crush... and now I have another one.
I posted here before about having a crush on a coworker who already had a boyfriend. I asked if I should confess, and thankfully I listened to most of your advice. I never did, and eventually got over her.
Well...
Here I am again. š
I have a new crush. Same team, still WFH.
The funny part? I actually used to dislike her because she seemed intimidating. On my first day, I called her "ate" (basically "big sister" where I'm from), and she told me to stop because it made her uncomfortable. I was honestly hurt - because she said word by word "it's too uncomfy" (i'm just a sensitive person) and kept my distance after that.
Over time, though, we started talking more. She began calling me "beh," "beb," and even "babe" a couple of times. I know girls call people "babe" all the time, so I'm not assuming it means anything.
I think that's just my weakness, and "babe" isn't what i am used to š
Now I find myself liking her. She's only a year older than me, loves traveling, and is incredibly intelligent - which is honestly what attracts me the most.
So my question isn't whether she likes me.
It's how do you guys deal with catching feelings this easily?
I'm honestly tired of developing crushes at this age, especially knowing that liking straight girls usually just ends in heartbreak.
Can someone please slap some sense into me? š I hate that I'm feeling this way again.
I do enjoy the excitement of having a crush, but deep down I already feel like this isn't going anywhere. How do you stop yourself from getting attached before it gets worse?
