Discussion Help with Equitorrial Map
So I'm trying to make an equitorrial map for my homebrew game, and I literally suck at it. I have each of the continents and where I'd like them to go (the white marks on the map are both my north and south pole positions) But im stuck. Is there any advice or tutorials for this or am I doomed to just starting the map over and hoping for the best?

Weirdly enough I had to do something similar a couple years ago. Here’s a post of mine asking people how to do it:

I recently went through the same thing myself. I didn't find any kind of universal guide. Overall, basic geography helped me the most: climate zones, air currents, and climate formation. Basically, I just downloaded an image of Earth's climate map and overlaid it as a semi-transparent layer in Photoshop for reference. Based on that, you start working out the rest: mountains, rivers, painting the terrain with a brush (deserts, snowy cold poles, green forests). Good luck!
