I know it’s fun to throw shade at the US, but Iran is also a political failure rather than military. There’s no political capital to do what would have to be done to accomplish whatever it is Trump wants to accomplish there, which would be a massive ground invasion.

Meh, not well, but not getting even 1/20th the effort Iraq did. Certainly mismanagement of the few assets we're actually utilizing in the region. Barely any US casualties.
