The Big 3 Geo-politically for the last couple decades has been US-China with Russia a distant 3rd. the 2020s has Russia being cut down to a secondary power which is more reflective of their GDP - Equal to UK, Germany, Poland, etc. USA is going from being a global superpower with troops strategically deployed across the world to having no global bases - Middle east bases have been destroyed, with lots of talks of closing European and Asian bases.

China can end up being the clear #1 global power by the end of the decade without them firing a shot.
