Getting Physical games.

Hey, so I have an og Xbox One and have had it for over a decade at this point. I never really got a lot of games on it, but with the announcement of Xbox Disc to Digital, and knowing it works on Xbox One, what games would you recommend I try to get physically?

I’ve already ordered Sunset Overdrive which I’ve heard was a great game from Insomniac for years. Also considering Gears 5 and a few others, any other recommendations with this system?

First things first, are you an Xbox insider? Second, if you are how long have you been an insider? And third which ring are you?

Theres a giant list online somewhere that says what discs are compatible with the new feature and what discs arent compatible in there. I honestly recommend to have a look there and choose from the list of games there. I think its being updated aswell to let more physical games become compatible however I am not sure on that

They did say more games will be added. But who knows what that actually means or what they will be able to add. They also said way back they would make all Xbox title BC with the 360, then they eventually gave up, with some odd omissions like original Ninja Gaiden release (they only did black, original had more unlockables) or Hunter the Reckoning Redeemer(Xbox exclusive version, but the multi platform version does). Then they said the same with Xbox/360 games on the Xbox One.

I Wouldn’t buy any physicals just for this program until it’s confirmed to work.

Well, the nice thing is you can play the games physically even if they're not part of the disc-to-digital program.

So the list below is just some of the best Xbox-made and third-party games on the Xbox One. (If I were taking an Xbox One to a desert island that somehow had a 1080p TV and electricity, the games I'd want to have with me)
