Controller is moving my cursor

I’m on the Xbox cloud gaming website on edge, I have better xcloud installed. I’m on edge, tried it on chrome and didn’t work, both said I had no controller connected. But in the Xbox app it works fine. It was working fine yesterday and I didn’t change a thing so I’m quite confused on what’s chasing this to and how to fix it. Restarted my laptop and also closed steam through task manager.

Same here, except I don’t use Better xCloud - just play through chrome and since yesterday can’t get my wired controller to work as a controller - but it moves the cursor like a mouse. I tried a different controller and same problem. I can use it through the Xbox app and remote play, but I’ve gotten used to not having to turn on the actual Xbox!

Glad to help you. The browser has clarity boost while the app does not. Otherwise i wouldnt of cared. Lol

I thought my controller was broken or something apparently u need to open xbox game bar click setting and then turn off cursor mode

Here is the solution. Open Edge. On your keyboard press the Windows Key and G at the same time.  An xbox menu pops up. Click on the settings icon and press input. You want to turn off the option under “gamepad cursor”. Your welcome! I also updated my controller on the pc earlier so idk if that helped.
