Phone mounts

Post image

Just purchased a 26’ zx10r on Wednesday.
Getting it lowered and a few other items done before taking delivery. What case/ mounts does everyone use to work with the steering stabilizer?
Looks like a stem mount will work but not sure ,??
Thanks is advance.

You need the quadlock m8 bolt mount and that'll go where your steering stabilizer bolt is

Dont lower it. Thats stupid and completely ruins the ride.

Did this for my 25 Zx10r works great although you have to look straight down to check your phone while it's mounted

I’m short and want to be comfortable when I’m at a light. Functional not for looks

Forgive me and carry on then!

No worries at all. I’m hoping it doesn’t mess with the ride. I was an adamant with the dealer/ about not wanting to mess with anything just wanted more stability when stationary

That’s an epic life hack, this way if it falls off not a total loss. Genius.

I actually used a quad lock stick on wall mount. Put it in the nice phone sized rectangle on the tank. I had the vibration dampner so it was raised but it was out of the way of the bars and screen. Didn't get in my way when I was tucked on high speed runs. I did basically have to look down to see it but I didn't look at it much while riding. Gps sometimes and swipe for music change.

That’s an excellent idea. No issues with the adhesive?

None. 160+ no issues. Fully in the windshieds protection. Worked great.

GPS and music will be the only things id need for anyway.

I have the MH-PRO No Vibration. Works great, no need to buy any bolts etc... Easy to attach to any bike and has a wide variety of positions/angles to play with.

I’m running a set of spacers under the steering stabilizer. Then I have a quad lock steering stem mount with an anti vibration mount. It tilts enough so the phone is in landscape style sits just under the TFT in your line of sight. That’s the only way I could figure out how to have my cake and eat it too. I thought of all sorts of other ways but that was the easiest solution. I forget where I ordered the risers but they were only like $10-20 online. Anyways hope that helps

Thanks for the info. I’ve seen type of spacers available through quad lock and rockform
Will definitely add to my order

No phone mount, phones are a distraction

Valid point

Ride the bike with your eyes on the road and know where you’re going before you get on it? Nothing on your phone is so important it needs to be a foot from your face on a liter bike…

I'm using Quad Lock Handlebar mount but replaced the steering damper bolt instead so it's on top of the steering damper

Thanks for the info. I’ve seen a couple recommendations of replacing the bolt to add the mount
