Little Wonder record No. 1195.
This was a random find inside a pile of records. It’s ALWAYS a rabbit hole, but the story is very interesting!
It almost sounds like Harry Lauder, to me… anyone recognize it? I haven’t “dug deep” to find out.
I did read over the Wikipedia article for it: very good description!
Long and short of it: looks like it’s made for kids, but it was actually made for people with a mind on their money- economy! 1¢ apiece, and sold in music stores and Five-N-Dimes (5¢ and 10¢ stores in early USA). Interesting, quick read on the article!
Have a great day, thank you for looking or even just passing by 🙂
This is played on a (likely) dark “fumed oak” cabinet VV-XIV (earliest design style), ~late 1911-early 1912.
P.s. sorry for the poor video quality- I had to lower the pixels for size
