hi. this is basically a rant bc i spent three hours crying today. Basically, for the first class, ap chem, i spent basically 6 hours studying just to barely pass both my mcq and my frq in unit 1. i need to maintain my 4.0 for my scholarship and literally everyone else around me got an A on the exams. im probably going to go to tutorials tomorrow, but i feel so shitty because apparently chem only gets harder- so looks like i'll be failing for the rest of the year.
the second exam was in calc bc, which i actually got a 60 in on our unit 1 limits mcq. literally freaking limits. i got a perfect score on all of the homework, and i feel so confident about the exam cause i swore i knew how to solve every question and get to an answer choice that was on the quiz. but i guess im a stupid chud and i have to re-assess up to an 80 (nay...).
i go to a very competitive high school where it is extremely cut throat and even just one b is what will cause you to be in the top 10 in your class to the bottom 10 in the entire school. i am 100% not getting ranked and i'm so scared that I will lose my 4.0
also this might sound dumb asf, but i do not want to drop either of these courses. something in me tells me i can still do good but i need a stranger's opinion as well. i was really liking calc bc until i got my score- and for ap chem- i don't know what the actual hell happened on the test, i think i'm just going to have to live at school for the next 9 months to get straight A's in these classes.
