Support Brand new ASUS won't start up

Upvotes

Just pulled a brand new ASUS E1504f out of the box. Plugged it in, let it sit for 15 mins then turned it on. That was @ 3:30 today, it's 5:45 at this writing.

This is not my first ASUS, I like the brand, but it's the first time this has happened to me.

Over 2 hours for the first start up? Really?

Has this happened to you, or have you ever heard of this ridiculous amount of time to start up?

Support Crash Loop ASUS PG32UCDM3

Post image
Upvotes

Hi not sure where to start. I’ve been having several issues with my monitor. To start I figured out through lots of testing that the DP80 cable they sent was faulty and would not work unless I dropped the monitor down to 13.5G DisplayPort stream mode. I ordered a new cable and this issue was resolved but the monitor would get stuck in crash loops during this time where I couldn’t even get into the OSD. By sheer luck I was able to get into the OSD once and change back to 13.5G mode.

Now the issue is that when I change the monitor into Dolby Vision mode, I get a DDC/CI error message and HDR automatically turns off in windows. Not auto hdr but the actual HDR button. When I turn it back on the crash loop on the monitor starts again but this time it’s even shorter and I can’t access the monitors OSD at all and I just have to wait until my PC turns HDR off by itself(which it does but not sure why).

Attached is a photo of the message. I tried to get a video of the crash loop but it fixed itself right as I tried and while I could recreate it, I don’t really want to intentionally start something I can’t reliably stop.

Support DEAR ASUS, (cause you don't have a canadian support email)

Dear Asus,

I bought my brand new ASUS Vivobook K3502ZA from best buy in July of 2023. Since I was about 15, Ive always known Asus to be THE brand for gaming computers and quality performance hardware. When shopping for my new computer, other brands were off the table. I wanted an Asus.

I knew Asus could offer great function for photography/video editing programs. Those hobbies have been important to me for over 2 decades, so I had full trust purchasing the 2 year warrenty would be a responsible move.

..Till recent, for the most part, the computer sat untouched.

Fast forward to this week. On Aug 25, 2026, i purchased my 1 year Adobe Lightroom subscription. By Aug 26, I was fed up with it crashing/freezing with basic Lightroom settings, so I took it into geek squad. They informed me my CPU is overworking and the whole motherboard needed to be replaced.

This news crushed me.

I made sure I never left it plugged in too long to avoid overheating the battery. I made sure i never downloaded anything unsure. I bought the warrenty. I wasnt clicking on anything & everything to avoid additional virus'.

... I whole heartedly believe i took good care of this labtop and now Im left defeated. I took all the right steps to ensure I took care of something i valued.

My warrenty ended in mid 2025 and Im now left with a choice of adding a perfectly good labtop into a pile of accumulated electronic waste or paying 90% of the vivobook price tag for repair.

I’m reaching out to ASUS from a good place in my heart, in hopes that the right person at Asus can read this and work towards a fair solution that's beneficial for me and the company. This was not Asus or User error, just a terrible situation involving a girl with a 2 decade hobby, watered with relentless effort to grow, excell and bloom for personal interest.

To whom took the time to read this, I want to say thank you, and i really hope to hear back from you.

So 2-3 days ago my laptop started freezing in between tasks and the only solution to this is hard shutdown, also when I am turning it on it doesn’t really show any sign ,so I have to hold the power button for a bit and then plug the charger to turn it on. Also my drivers are not working as shown in the images . Does anyone known what the issue might be ? I tried installing the amd and nvidia drivers yesterday but it didn’t really do anything.
The laptop is Asus vivobook pro 15

Support Does BE200 intel wifi card work on X870I board?

For me, MediaTek products are hot garbage. Before I order an one from Intel, I want to make sure it works with this motherboard, or whether I need to get one with Wi‑Fi 6E AX200. I’ve seen a few posts saying that the BE200 doesn’t work with some motherboards or devices.

Discussion ASUS ZenWiFi BT10 + M3 MacBook: weird 8 Mbps TX collapse – anyone else?

I have a 2-node BT10 setup that otherwise works extremely well, but occasionally bothy my and my GF's M3 MacBook Airs drop to (and get stuck at) 0-8 Mbps TX / MCS 0–1 on 5 GHz and basically lose connectivity. This happens every other day or so.

After a lot of testing, this doesn’t seem to be normal weak signal or roaming. A ThinkPad at the exact same spot, same time and same BT10 BSSID works perfectly. The Mac stays associated, and simply turning its Wi-Fi off/on doesn’t fix it.

What fixes it immediately is AiMesh Optimize, or a complete reboot of the BT10s.

Controlled test without moving the Mac:

Before: −76 dBm, ch52/160, Tx 8 Mbps, unusable
After Optimize: same −76 dBm, same BSSID/ch52/160, Tx 200–500+ Mbps, perfectly usable.

The BT10 log around the failure also contains:

acsd: wl1 received event: tx pkt delay suddently jump

which appears to be Broadcom WLC_E_PKTDELAY_IND.

Looks like some persistent BT10/Broadcom <-> Mac Wi-Fi state rather than simple RF coverage.

Anyone with a BT10 and M-series Mac seen the same Tx=8/MCS0-1 behavior?

Support I need advice on how to fix my laptop

Its an Asus A15 for quite a while now its went into something failed to start then it would reset and then it would go into the bitlovker thing. Then it would be normal

Now my issue is that today I forgot to leave my charger in whilst I went out. When I went home I turned my laptop on everything was normal I entered my pin and It turned off, plugged it in, then tried the same turned on then off. Realised it wasent plugged in properly. Left it charging whilst off for 30min or so.

Now my issue is that when I turn it on, the fans turn on ramp up then slow after a bit. Then my keyboard lights stay on, but the screen never turns on, note I know its not just the screen because the caps lock light dosent turn on when tapped and, when hooked up to an external monitor the monitor flashed like it wants to turn on but it dosent show anything.

Product Recommendation ASUS Vivobook 16 (X1607QA) vs ASUS Zenbook A14 (UX3407)

Which one is better for a university student who will mostly be doing a lot of writing and reading? I need a laptop with good battery life and can handle multiple tabs/tasks. Need the basic microsoft programs which i think both come with. Theres a $400 difference between the vivobook and zenbook, so thats why im considering the vivobook. Should i ditch the oled screen and get a vivobook? Or are there any other budget friendly laptops i should look at.

Support Asus zenbook duo (2023) which I adore: Won't charge (or maybe...won't power on but will charge?) Can't power on to fiddle with uefi settings as usually recommended. Next steps?

I think I jammed that all in the title. But my zenbook, for some reason simply will not charge. I suppose it's possible it's charged fine but won't power on.

I can get the led on the power button to flash slowly...sometimes. But generally not repeatably.

Most "my asus laptop won't charge" search results revolve around "a max of 80%" or something similar. So I'm getting a lot of false positives.

Does it make sense for me to fetch my tiny screwdrivers on this one? Or do I have to take it to a blue shirted high school kid and pray I'm not prey?

I adore this thing and would hate to see it join the ancient laptops in "that bin in my basement."

Support Realtek 8851BE intermittently fails at boot

I just got this new build that has an Asus B850 Max Gaming Wifi with a Realtek 8851BE card

From the very first shutdown and boot after I installed the wifi drivers, the wifi failed.

The issue isn't consistent. After some boots it's fine, after some it fails. Windows still detects the card but it won't respond at all and throws a code 10 error.

I've tried resetting the adapter, clearing the drivers and reinstalling multiple times, trying older versions of them, disabling the adapter's power management options, disabling any advanced tab power saving options, disabling fast startup, updated bios to latest stable release, did a clean reinstall of windows, enabled ErP ready (s4+s5), disabled both native and cpu ASPM, Cold booted the desktop between trials, Disabled link state power management. I've tried almost everything but registry edits and I've been told that it's quite unlikely to fix it since the issue happens at POST. I'm at my wit's end.

The device is fine save for this issue. It even failed once after the device went to sleep for a minute. I've put the card under load and ping tests and it held well.

I'd appreciate any help.

So I purchased vivobook 15 on 2024 it was working fine and end end of 2025 it started facing hinge issue like making sound while closing the lid and all I told the service centre guy he just tightened the screw and said it will not cause any problem... Now yesterday suddenly the hinge got snapped and broke along with that now I cannot open the lid because it is damaged... Then I called the official service centre of asus and gave the pictures of damaged parts they told me that it will cost 14k ... After listening to that I am sad and disappointed.. I never dropped the laptop or used it roughly it was always there in a laptop stand and was placed at one steady state... Now all my college work is Stopped and I cannot tell this to my parents as they are strict and I am also facing some financial issues.. so I should get the laptop repaired at a local shop or authorised service centre.... I need your help and review..... Attaching pictures of my laptop and sorry for my poor English:)
