Hey guys, I'm a new international full-degree student at AU. I just moved into Skjoldhøjkollegiet, but the place is really far away and I'm already considering moving out.

Does anybody here have any experience with Christianshøj kollegiet? It looks really nice and is very close to the uni, which I would really appreciate, but I'd like to learn more (as Skjoldhøj also looked pretty in the pictures, but the reality is a bit different).

Hi everybody. I am from non-eu and living in Denmark for 3 years now. I applied to Bsc in economics and business administration in Aarhus University and got offered the student place for Sep 2026 intake.

I have already paid my fee in june 8, the deadline was June 30. I have not received my ST 1 from yet. Do anybody know the time frame or have any experience in this?

Hi everyone, I'm considering a postdoc at Aarhus University and I'm trying to understand how the salary scale (Scale 4–8 under the AC agreement) is determined. My background is: MSc completed in 2017 (India) PhD completed in India 2 years of postdoctoral experience at an EU Universiry All of my research experience since my MSc has been relevant to the position.

I'm wondering: How is salary seniority actually calculated for postdocs at Aarhus University?

Does post MSc time spent count towards salary seniority if it was completed outside Denmark or non EU nation?

Based on my background, would I likely be placed closer to Scale 5, Scale 6, or even Scale 8? I'd really appreciate hearing from anyone who has been hired as a postdoc at AU or another Danish university and has gone through the salary placement process.

Hello! I am a Non-EU student from North America looking at doing an internship next semester at a company in Aarhus. For context, I have already submitted my contract to the university and it has been approved, that is of no issue at all!

However, since the internship is not mandatory, I need to get permission from SIRI for the internship work visa permit for that semester. BUT— SIRI does not actually tell you the standard processing time for this visa....I called as well, to ask but they stated it "depends on the person" which is fair— though I do believe you could really say this about any visa in general.

My question is: For those that added a non-mandatory internship as part of your studies, do you remember how long it took for SIRI to grant permission? I just need to know if this is a process that is usually quite quick or if its months to hear anything back.

I am an EU graduate and I was wondering how hard is it to be accepted into a master's programme in AU? I heard that there is a thing where people with danish degrees get automatically accepted but I cannot find the statistics anywhere. KU does have the % of people entering by right / people accepted as well as total applications but I cant find similar info for AU. I am interested in molecular biology if that helps.. Thanks!!
