So the calculator suggested a 30e/f or the sister size 32dd/e. I tried several bras. The 32dd (70e where I live) was too small. So I tried a 32e (70f) and it’s the best fitting bra I’ve ever had! (I used to wear 34d which rode up in the back and didn’t cover my boobs fully)

I went to lots of stores but unfortunately I couldn’t find any that had a 65G (30F). Should I order some? Or is the 70f perfect?

i've always had major issues finding the right bra, i've had to wear sports bras my entire life because it feels like no store carries my size, especially since i have a bigger chest. i'm ideally looking for something that minimizes the size of my chest because i hate how large my chest looks. i don't think i would be comfortable in an underwire bra, does anyone know of any bras that would work for someone with proportions like me? thanks :)

I’ve had some volume loss at the top from weight fluctuation and I feel like bras fit weirder than ever because of it. Does 34I/J seem accurate? Where do I even find this sizing? DDD was hard enough!

My boobs are recently new, as in the last few years, where 3 years ago I was barely an A cup. Now, my best fitting bra is a 32D push up from Victoria’s Secret, although even that one kind of sucks. I recently ordered a 30DD from their website and it arrived and finally a band that doesn’t ride up to my armpits in the back but there is still much spillage and they don’t go higher than a DD cup. I have an underbust of 26in and bust of 33in and after doing the aBraThatFits calculator I got a size of 26 H/I which seems like a big cup. Either way, everyone says it’s very accurate so I really want to try a bra like that but the problem is I cant seem to find anywhere nearly as low as a 26 band size and even the ones that go to 28 don’t have larger cup sizes. Any recommendations?

Hi all! I struggle with getting cysts (like a big pimple below the surface) every now and then (maybe once a month) exactly where my bra band meets my spine. I am severely underweight and therefore quite boney so it may have something to do with that. I wear bras size 28F on the tightest hook, they're slightly too big in the band and therefore may cause some friction throughout the day. I do have a bit of acne mostly on my face but there's some pimples on my shoulders and along my back too (though never cysts).

Does anyone else experience this issue or even better know how to fix it? I have never been to a dermatologist.

I've been wearing a Comexim Elena (padded plunge) in 36H in Breakout Bras sizing for 8 months--rotating between it and other bras so it rested for at least 24 hours, hand washed in cold water, air dried (laid flat or hung by the gore). Last night when I took it off, I noticed that the wire had popped out of the top of the outer side of the channel on both sides of the bra. My confusion is that this is the newest and (I thought) best fitting of my 3 Comexim padded plunges, yet neither of the other two have this problem. I also have and wear a Comexim Greta in 36GG and a Comexim Gloria in 36G (both padded plunges). They are older than the Elena so I've been wearing them on the tightest hooks. Greta is over a year old and Gloria is older than that. They aren't perfect fits in the cup now, but they work okay. I've never previously had the wire pop out of any of my bras. I also have Panache, Gorsenia, and Understance bras.

My question is whether this is something about how the Elena is constructed v. Greta and Gloria, or if this says something about my size or shape that I should be aware of. I haven't measured in over 6 months and will definitely remeasure before buying any more bras, but I am planning to buy another Comexim plunge, likely from Breakout Bras, so if there are styles I should stay away from, that would be good to know.

I can’t find many of the bras recommended on the beginners guide and a lot of them are too lacy. I wear mostly t-shirts and want something that won’t show my nipples.

Willing to drop some good cash if I can find something truly comfortable, because right now I can’t even stand to wear my old bras.

I had a revelation recently, while wearing my oversized jelly bra that does absolutely nothing for me, that I NEED a new bra. A couple, probably. Like yesterday.

For a couple years now I’ve been primarily wearing True & Co bras and the aforementioned Amazon wireless bra in an attempt to feel as comfortable as possible. But you know what’s not comfortable? Your post-baby boobs naturally resting halfway down your torso, being barely held in place by these sweat-soaked, light compression bras and pressed against your IMF instead of lifted away from it. I’m done.

The problem is, now I feel like I am looking for a unicorn. I like the idea of unlined when it comes to custom fit, but I know I would feel more comfortable with a little more modesty than mesh can offer. I don’t want the mental friction of having to add nipple covers or pads underneath; c’mon now, it’s the undergarment’s job provide that coverage, right? I like seamless and smooth styles because they work with everything, but so many unlined bras are lace… which is beautiful, but can be a sensory nightmare for me and limit versatility of wear. I’ve never tried a spacer but that seems to be close to what I’m describing; however, I think I want to get away from molded cups since they usually cause so many issues. All these checkboxes plus finding a bra that actually fits… I need the help of people with more bra game than me!!

This leaves me with 34D/DD. I’m 6’ tall, FOB, lots of loose skin from volume loss post-babies. I really struggle with identifying any of the other shape traits on myself. I think teardrop shape. My frame is pretty wide but I think my roots are actually on the narrow side of average. Maybe average projection? I’ve dealt with the struggles of both shallow and projected boobs in different bras (gapping at the top of cups, gore not tacking, etc).

Bravissimo Millie—UK 34E. I bought this on a trip to London when I lost my suitcase. My only unlined. At first this seemed perfect, I love the way I look in it. But now I know it’s not quite right. The gore tacks beautifully but is either too tall or too wide—it just presses too much on my sternum to wear all day. And even though it gives me great shape, there’s a finger-width of space between my IMF and the underwire, both on the bottom and the sides. And maybe the tiniest bit of rippling in the upper lace.

Natori Breakout Full Fit Contour—US 36D. I was at a higher weight when I bought this and had more volume in my bust at the time; it fit much better then, but I was also on a trip and needed a bra so I bought the best I could find. This is actually still my most comfortable underwire bra and I wear it despite it not fitting properly anymore. I don’t know if there’s a fit issue here other than I’d need to go down to a 34D?

VS Perfect Shape Smooth Push-Up—US 34D. Don’t judge me, I walked into VS yesterday in desperation and liked this when I tried it on. The fabric is comfy and it made me feel good, and honestly the fit feels pretty okay in the short time I’ve tried it on. But the times I want that much padded lift are pretty infrequent in my life. Planning to return but just sharing here for fit comparison help.

I have other bras that are absolute no’s also—I have a Cleo Faith that is such a bad fit that I can’t believe I purchased it, as well as several old 34C VS bras from my 20s that weirdly still feel comfy in the band but are now way too small in the cup.

Hello! The bra I've been wearing for a couple of years now is too small, and I'm finally getting around to replacing it, but I'm not sure where to start.

I've been wearing the Victoria's Secret Dream Angels Demi bra in a 34DDD, but the cups are too small. I spill over the top of them. I like the cut of the bra other than the size, so I think a demi would be good to continue with, but I'm not dead set on it. I'm definitely set on underwire and enough padding to not need pasties.

Done my measurements already, a 32c is what fits. They were fine in the bra store but some time has passed now (months?) and the underwires are so tight where the cup meets the band by my armpits that it's caused bruising. What is going on????

Are the bra straps too tight? Could it be weight gain?​ Is it a cups issue????

I'm super super short-rooted (which I've realized causes nearly all my fit problems), rather narrow, moderately close set with soft tissue and lots of immediate projection. The only bra I've found that fits is the Comexim padded 3HC. I've been losing weight for about a year, and I don't have my measurements from 6 months ago anymore but I've been wearing 34FF and 34G comexim padded 3HCs (sizing per Breakout Bras because I'm US-based, so it's not exactly UK or EU sizing) for about 5 months. The 3HC is really good, not perfect. (The wires could be narrower with a slightly wider gore, and the top of the cup could be a little lower.) The comexim plunges do not work for me. I tried a Lisa, because I wanted an unpadded option. The wires and cups are WAY too tall. The gore hurts, the armpits get poked, and there's loose fabric at the top of the cups.

I'm looking to buy more comexim 3HCs in my current size. Based on how I'm filling out the cups still on my current bras even though the bands are too loose, I'm planning to order 32G and 32GG 3HCs.

My question is about the Comexim miriam specifically. Does it fit like the padded 3HCs or like the unpadded Lisa plunge?

I’m currently in a 36D and the top is just a giant gap I don’t fill up any of the top of the cup. I am 1 year post breastfeeding. My boobs are very deflated from that and weight loss. They are somewhat more full towards the bottom than the top. I’m 190lbs 5’10” overall large build. My boobs appear small compared to my body/build. Any suggestions for what sizes to buy. I struggle with nipple vasospasm due to my raynaud’s phenomenon and it’s an incredibly painful experience. I’d like to invest into a really-really warm bra that won’t make me too cold.

Support is not that important, I have a small chest and got used to not wear a bra usually.

I just need a super-super warm and super-super soft bra so it’s not harsh in my nipples.

So glad I found this page! Been struggling with finding the right size. Especially after giving birth in 2024 and then losing weight at the beginning of this year. Finally measured myself and omg I can breathe! So much lift. No back pain, so far. Been wearing my bra all day. Straps keep slowly falling down and it’s annoying. I’ve tightened the straps twice now. This second time is a little better. Not sure if my sizing is wrong or not.

This is my 3rd using this calculator and all these times my bra DID fit but it always hid my waist. For reference I have really soft/relaxed bell shape boobs. Like boobs reaching to stomach type. I just want a bra that lifts and fits me perfectly!! I do not have budget this time hence why I am coming here on reddit. I usually ware Freya Idol Bra but there is almost always a large gap on the top because of my boob type. My last bra size was a 32H. Anyways, here is a picture of my calculation. i measured myself and using calculations I should be wearing a 28D. However, my current 30B’s band feels relatively tight. But I frequently find that my current bra isn’t holding and slips outwards. It’s a T-shirt bra so you’d think it should be covering.

The main question is, should I really go for the 28D or go for a 30C (sister size), as the 30 feels tight?

Anyway, following up because I've been wearing the Freya Spot-Light bra for a few days. I'm afraid it's going to tear when I am getting settled into it, scooping and swooping. It feels so delicate. The gore DOES sit soooo much better against my sternum than what I was wearing. I have a 30H/(80H French sizing) from a few years ago that is a bit too small. They don’t go beyond H. I have found French brands to have more comfortable wires in the past.

I have ordered (and returned) So. Many. Bras. Got a shipment yesterday and here's what I got:

Cassiopee Seamless full cup - 32H

Norah Seamless Comfort - 32H

Madison Side Support - 32H

Measurements/shape: 30 loose, 29.5 snug, 28.75 tight, 40 leaning, 38.5 lying down, 35 full. My shape is...tubular (but pendulous). Like the teats on a cow's udder. Very soft. I've lost about half my body weight in the last 1.5 year, so they are mostly skin. Pretty much zero shape on top, even in a bra. Nipples are toward the bottom of these tube socks, but they are not on the "ends" when standing; they point out front.

Calculator give me 30FF/G UK, but all the 30s I've gotten are too tight and uncomfortable. I did get a Fantasie Fusion (30G) recently, and it's ok with an extender; the cups seem a bit small as I have to stuff down from the top to get everything within the cup. But it's not painful to wear. So back to the drawing board for some 32s. Always S&S when putting bras on.

Cassiopee got shipped back. Hella expensive, so it needed to be perfect, and it was FAR from that. Way too much space in the tops of the cups. Didn't feel supportive.

Norah seems pretty comfortable while trying it on, and I'm keeping it. I haven't worn it a whole day yet. Breasts all fit in the cups (no quadboob) and the wire seems to be in my IMF.

Madison: hooray! could be the unicorn! I can stuff all my squishiness totally inside; it's on the loosest clasps. There's still a bit of space at the tops of the cups and so there's no "slope" peeping from the tops of the cups (because there's just no way to have any top fullness unless I push things up with my hands). Been wearing it all day, and the only issue is the wires come up really high into my armpits (I have a short torso, only 5'1" high). They aren't quite poking into my pits, but I can feel that they are close. Is there a bra that fits sort of the same but doesn't go so high into my armpits?

Hi, my size is 32F/FF. Projected and full on bottom shape. Looking for a post breast feeding bra. Boobs are much lower and bigger postpartum. I want a bra that lifts but also makes them appear smaller. I’m ok with full coverage. I wear a lot of turtlenecks, t shirts. I want something super supportive that keeps everything inside. I need help finding a bra style and brand that fits me well now that I’m past all of my pregnancy and breastfeeding days. It’s been 9 months since I stopped breastfeeding and 2.5 years since I gave birth.

I am a petite woman being 5 feet 0 inches with a shorter torso on top of that.

My breast tissue is very soft and bottom heavy with wide roots, but shorter top to bottom. I tried on a few bras today and 32 band felt too tight, but 34 felt okay. I found a balconette bra from Target in their Auden brand in size 34D where the band felt okay and the cups were filled out correctly, but I had center gore discomfort and armpit discomfort from the underwire. Many of the t shirt bras and full coverage bras had gaping at the top where I wasn’t filling out the cup. I do not want a push up bra. Lightly lined is okay, unlined is my preferred.

I don’t know if the band tightness felt uncomfortable because I’ve been in a nursing bra for nearly the last 5 years or if the 32 is actually too tight. I double checked my measurements multiple times too.

If anyone has any guidance on companies, bra styles, or anything that would be helpful I appreciate it. I feel like I’ve tried everything on in target I possibly can.
