Here is what I’ve been up to this week. :)
It’s not all that interesting, but it lets me keep a sort of online journal.
Maybe this will interest some people. :)
P.S. I say "this week," but since it’s Monday, I was actually referring to last week. :)
For those wondering, I'm a 21-year-old girl. :)
What I watched: ( movies and series)
- The Spiderwick Chronicles movie: I'm a huge fan of Holly Black and her books, and since The Spiderwick Chronicles is the only film adaptation of her work, I really enjoy watching it, sometimes. :)
- Barbie and The Three Musketeers movie: I mostly watched it out of nostalgia because it was one of my favorite Barbie movies when I was little. :)
- The Spiderwick Chronicles series: I was a bit apprehensive about this series adaptation of the books; even though there was huge potential, I have to say that given the cliffhanger ending and the fact that a second season was cancelled, I was left feeling unsatisfied.
- Tangled The Series: I really loved finishing this series! All the characters are interesting, and it adds a real plus to the original movie. My favorite song is "Ready As I'll Ever Be."
What I read:
- Starlight ( Skye Lauren): I read it last week, but I read it again because it’s incredible! It’s a wonderfully magical and romantic retelling featuring an adult Peter Pan and Wendy, with absolutely no intimate scenes. If you love Peter Pan and enjoyed the 2003 movie but were frustrated by the ending, read this! Please give this book a chance, it’s a real gem! ^^
- The Darkest Part Of The Forest ( Holly Black): Yes, Holly Black again but I plan to reread all her books! ^^ (I first discovered The Spiderwick Chronicles when I was six.) For those who have read this book: I really loved the beautifully described settings and the character of Hazel, whom I found very powerful!
- Epochs Of Fashion: Victorian Era article: I’m a huge fan of Victorian fashion (even though many aspects of the era weren't exactly cheerful), but I really enjoyed reading this article, which is illustrated with wonderful period engravings. :)

What I listened to:
- Once Upon A Broken Heart (Stephanie Garber) audiobook on Soundcloud: I had already read it, but listening to it was really nice. :)
- Sunflower ( Post Malone and Swae Lee): It was my song of the summer!
- Michael Jackson's album Dangerous: My favorite album! My favorite songs are: Remember the Time, In The Closet, Give In to Me, Heal the World, Gone Too Soon, and Dangerous. :)
In case you're wondering, I was already a fan of Michael before the biopic. :)

What I did:
- I did some tiding up
- I bought a DVD of Ever After High: I got it for €3; it includes the first three episodes of Season 1. :)
- I’ve been getting ready for the start of the school year, which is in a week for me: I'm at university, so my start date is later. :)
What I watched ( On Youtube):
- The Terrifying Brilliance of Mother Gothel ( from the YouTube channel Smarty Pants)
- SLEEPING BEAUTY (1959) - Disney's Most UNDERRATED Masterpiece | Video Essay ( from the YouTube channel Gab Art and Film)
- The Avatar The Last Airbender Iceberg Explained ( from the YouTube channel Overanalyzing Avatar)
- The real Mulan story ( from the YouTube channel TaleTwineDot)
So, that's everything I did this week! :)
Feel free to share what you've been up to! :)
P.P.S.: Once classes start up again, I'll have less time to put together these little weekly recaps, so I'll be doing them every now and then. :)
