I'm just about to head to the hospital for a pulmonary appointment. (Ironic considering I've actually been feeling sleepy/groggy all day long today, haha😅)

Life has been unkind but I did get to move into my dream apartment in June... Here's some of my favourite whimsical decor I've done🥹🍀

- #3 I painted onto masking tape so it's renter friendly and I can change the design anytime!

I've been sighing over the Lenox spice village for a decade now, but as a European they're impossible to get for any kind of reasonable prices. But then Flying Tiger did a little collection of more simple houses, and I pounced 🥹 everyone keeps telling me it's ugly as sin, but I'm so happy about it.

It’s working so far, all my SD cards are being guarded by a squirrel. Air dry clay and acrylic paint.

Finished up these two beautiful, whimsical paintings today. With it being the first day of September, I can already feel Halloween in the air! hehe

Previously lived alone for many years and my home was truly my sanctuary, was a reflection of me, felt whimsical, feminine, and so welcoming.
Moved in with my partner a few years ago and through blending of homes and a few moves, I’ve really lost my sense of a home that feels like me. Desperately trying to bring that feeling back.

Please don’t tell me about big box stores, I’m not buying my whimsy from Target thank you.
I frequent thrift stores and have found some things here and there but you really have to dig.

Mushroom decor is my favorite, have a ton of little decor things. Anything earthy, green, or weird and colorful. I have house plants but have to keep them in a greenhouse outside because my cats are heathens, so no real plants or anything inside unfortunately.
