Making someone hate them

if someone says, 'I'm making you hate me,' what does that mean? Like, should I be mad at their actions even though they said that, or no because there is something behind it? or maybe not intentionally?

I made my best friend hate me He left me Now hes doing well in life while I'm still that pathetic loser Talk to them I guess maybe that'll help Maybe they're trying to do the same thing as me I dont know Talk to them.

I think context matters here - both the overall context of the situation, and the context of the conversation. I would say you're generally going to have to look at the bigger picture to have a meaningful takeaway, but obviously doesn't sound like the relationship is in the healthiest place at the moment
