saw this comic the other day and it didn't really piss me off but i had the uh very loud urge to turn them into my ocs,, so i looked up some refs on pinterest, pulled out my good crayons and colored pencils and made Ronnie and Ivy!!

Ronnie is a very bubbly and really sweet person (21; NONBINARY, THEY/THEM) who is really into hyperpop. Her favorite musical artists are Flavor Foley and ISSBROKIE/shteppi. She also really likes candy :O) also she's named after the Ronnettes bc I love them

Ivy is a plant parent (23; GENDERFLUID, THEY/ANY) and is Ronnie's best friend. They are very nice, a little bit of a germophobe, and is a HUGE fan of the musical genre psychobilly (it's a mix of punk rock and rockabilly; it often has a lot of horror elements mixed in too). Their favorite band is The Chop Tops, and they also do a little bit of burlesque on the side ^ ± ^ I based a lot of their design off of Poison Ivy

if I have time (school is a bitch) I might remake the comic they're unoriginally from but with a twist in the plot ^ _ ^ it will be involving liquid death btw

So basically some poor guy on a subreddit asked if someone can help him as his now ex friend generated ai slop of his character sheet so yeah i helped and de Ai'd it.

Someone in the server I was a mod in used an ai tool on my art. And after I told them that they aren't allowed to do that and if they did it again they would be banned, they started saying dumbsh!t "well ai could actually be a great tool for art" NO

pretty decent right? These were made on flipaclip out of all things. its free. if you have a phone, its free. you can use it. you dont need a fancy tablet or anything I use a 2-3 year old generic Samsung tablet with the stylus it came with but you can use a phone and your thumb if you dont have those.

Ive also heard some good things about Ibispaint. thats also free (I just prefer flipaclip, sue me. its just what I know how to use)

If you dont have any sort of electronic, first of all, how are you here, and second, ill say what anyone else in this sub will say. paper is an option

I used to use Ai “art”when it came out until my wife taught me what’s wrong with Ai art. I’ll take my crappy drawing any day then use the same boring generic Ai slop. I have long since stopped using it like a year ago I think but I didn’t dare draw again cause I hated my art.

I still use Ai to brain storm, do reserch, and scream at but I am very sceptical if it’s advice and think for myself. I know it’s not good for the environment but it’s hard to completely stop using it when I don’t know how to talk to people well. One day I hope to leave it all behind and break free fully from the Ai spell.
