Payroll issues

Is it normal for your account Manager To mess up payroll on a weekly basis? I work at has roughly 35 guards. Every week there’s somewhere between five and 10 people that are missing hours. I’m not just talking about one or two hours. I’m talking over $400 missing from certain paychecks. It’s been going on for close to half a year now. Is this just something that is expected and accepted? I’m curious to see if it’s going on at all sites.

Yep welcome to security!!!! Work 70 hours in 1 week they only pay for 40 Not get paid a week before Christmas? Why not Just deal with it

No this does not go on at all sites and it shouldn’t happen as much as it does at yours. Your manager clearly doesn’t know what he / she is doing and this should be escalated to the next level if it hasn’t already.

If you are working multiple contracts that are paying the guards different rates, this could happen. The contract manager has to enter manually the different amounts. If one contract you are working is paying for an armed guard and later that week, you are working a contract that calls for a level one Guard , that contract is paying less. The contract manager has to enter all that manually. It can get confusing, especially if you have 30 guards working 15 contracts paying different amounts.

I wouldnt say its confusing but it does require some effort and attention to detail that most of these lazy and incompetent idiots are incapable of exerting.

Ah no, this company is too big for y’all to take that isssh, I’d just transfer.. I fought for a branch until I couldn’t no more, tried to have all paychecks out on time, isn’t worth it. , all you’ll do is cause yourself a heart attack.

Send a complaint to:

ethics@aus.com

It can be anonymous, but if you don't put your name to it, HR will use that as an excuse to not follow up.

Then, contact your state Department of Labor to file a Wage Theft complaint. Most states have a fairly simple form on their website.

That AM has no business handling payroll, and the company should know it.
