Listen to the original soundtrack on the Nintendo Music app! It’s arguably the best OST in the series, and Nintendo is most certainly tracking these streaming analytics to inform any decisions that make them more money.

The nintendo music app also has hourly and seasonal music as well. Makes for some good relaxing/study music!

Don't get me wrong, she is very relatable as a cheery clutz myself, with a very mundane home life... but I think I would prefer if she had more of a mature/sassy undertone like Phyllis did in the older animal crossing versions. A classic "there is no trendy shoes or hot men" sort of vibe. Not the rude, cynical, apathetic parts of her personality but more of some slight arrogance, feeling trapped and tired, being coffee addicted, and aspiring to enjoy the night life.

Hello everyone, I joined today the ACNH family as I finally bought the physical NSW2 edition.

Due to the switch limited storage space (and the insane MicroSD express prices) I am trying to buy games that are fully on cartridge so when I saw that the NSW2 physical had not only the game on cart but the 3.0 version as well, it was a very easy decision for me.

To my surprise after I inserted the game for the first time and checked for the latest updates, it downloaded a whopping 4.5gb of updates to 3.0.3 combined with Happy Home dlc for a total of 5.1gb!

Is this the same for you? I thought the three incremental updates would take a little bit of storage but not that much!

To double check I updated the same cartridge to the latest version on my old NSW1 and got a 4.3gb to 3.0.3 once again.

Restarted my Island 2 weeks ago after not playing for 5 years and finally got most of my dreamies for my gay little island!!!

I tried my luck with the autofilling gods cus I had no luck villager hunting and got Rolf even though I wanted Bob or Chrissy, (someday I will get them).

Nintendo should make it so you can pay your loans off with nook miles as well. Once I got my second room in the house the price skyrocketed.

Very excited, I decided to pull the plug and just get it with these rising prices. Hopefully, this will bring me back into ACNH and cure my burn out. I even made a town called Pumpkin 🎃 for this incoming fall to bring some joy back. For those of you who switched from an OLED -> Switch 2, have you noticed a difference in performance with the game? Some people have mentioned to me less lag and load times.

Started playing in January so I had a few critters that haven't shown themselves until this month. I'm still working on the art museum.

It was late in the year of our Barbie, 2023 when I felt like there wasn’t much more to do on my original island. The Barbie Movie was fresh on my mind and had really sparked something in me, so I hit the reset button and decided to take a stab at creating Barbieland. For the last (almost) three years, I’ve been working on this project little by little and have had a blast harnessing my inner kid to create the perfect doll island. I added the final touch the other night and am happy to finally share the results! There are lots of little Easter Eggs throughout the island inspired by the movie, previous games, and admittedly my own favorite semi-self proclaimed “Boring Barbie” including inside each home.

So welcome to Barbieland! I hope you all enjoy exploring it as much I did making it.

I work EMS and it’s just been non-stop, I need a little break and coming back to my favorite game in the series may give me that. I’ve been missing ACNL hard, my bills are paid and I’m about to have another pay day, so why not treat myself. I still have all my other 3DS/ DS games from childhood as well. I’ve been wanting either the white one or the pink one for a while and I’m happy I got one. I’ve played every single game in the animal crossing series but this one specifically has always had my heart. Any suggestions for town names, theme ideas, anything, please leave a comment.

I have had to kick out a couple villagers I actually liked to make way for cuter villagers. I have this in-memoriam area to remember them by 😭. Does anyone else do something similar?

a lot has been going on in my life lately and im honestly exhausted. then Tom Nook said this and i actually teared up a little. i think this is the first time ive realized how peaceful and happy it can feel when absolutely nothing is happening. even without any happy events in my days, im thankful that i can enjoy this peace and chill around

I’ve always let my weeds grow on my island because I think they’re pretty. Here, they suddenly evolved and became even more beautiful, with little blue wildflowers! 💙🌿
