Recommendations

Hey yall, im visiting Florida in September for my birthday and I am staying in Kissimmee for the duration of the trip. Any fun suggestions around the area or Orlando area that the locals tout? I am doing all the touristy things like disneyland, and maybe medieval times; but do yall have any favs? Like any nice spas or cool bars/speakeasies. Thanks for any suggestions.

Yes, Gatorland. You can see gators up close and some of them are HUGE. Make sure to catch one or two or all of the shows.

Check out this area of Downtown Orlando. It is considered the entertainment district of Downtown Orlando. It has many small shops, restaurants, cool bars and is walkable. When you zoom in on this area using Google maps you will see many more restaurants appear. Take a look:

PRO TIP: Make sure to park legally or you will be sorry. Ticket or tow.
