It has been a few months since our president declared LGBT as a national threat, and there are alot of people supporting this move.

I've seen people were harrassed in public, and cops turning a blind eyes to them. Asking for justice are impossible, I have no other choice than stay low until things are calming down.

Recently, my neighbourhood are kind of suspecting me, and I sensed some weird and hostile behavior from them. Im asexual, and mostly stay indoor so I rarely interact with others. But I still try to interact with my neighbours sometimes, like greet or help them when I saw they need my help.

Just now, I overheard some people suspecting me of being a gay, since I was never seen/have a girlfriend (kinda stupid tbh, mind your own bussiness damnit). Im afraid they gonna invite theirself to my home and start hunting me.

I cant think calmly, what should I do?

Living here in Syria feels like watching my entire future turn to dust in real time. I was in a better country, but after being forced to move back a month ago, I am stuck in an endless nightmare, We barely get electricity and water is cut off for days and the internet is so terrible.

I’m 18,I speak fluent English, i work as a short-form video scriptwriter and content marketing specialist for social media. I have the skills but this environment is slowly suffocating my career before it even starts. Sitting in the dark every day, watching my potential burn away just because of where I am located, is devastating.

I’m desperately looking for any realistic pathway or entry-level job or sponsorship to get out and rebuild my life in a stable country where I can actually work and grow. I will work in my field or outside my field for free with anyone who helps me get out of here.

I honestly don’t know where to start anymore. It feels like everything in my life is going wrong at the same time, and I’m getting to the point where I don’t know what to do.

My car broke down, and I can’t afford to fix it. I need it to get to work and handle everyday life, so being without it has put me in an even worse position financially.

The house I’m living in also still needs repairs, but the landlord doesn’t seem interested in finishing what needs to be done. I just want somewhere that feels like an actual home, but I’m constantly dealing with unfinished problems.

Now my job is cutting my hours, which means I’m losing even more money. I was already struggling to keep up with everything, and now I’m trying to figure out how I’m supposed to survive with less income.
I’ve tried asking friends and family for help, but a lot of the time they say they’ll help and then never follow through. I don’t want to keep asking people for things. I want to be independent. I want to be able to fix my own problems and take care of myself, but right now I genuinely can’t.

On top of all of this, I have ADHD, and I can’t even afford my medication right now. That makes everything feel even more overwhelming because my mind already feels like it’s going a hundred different directions at once. I know I need to figure things out, but sometimes I don’t even know where to start.

I’m depressed, sad, frustrated, and honestly just lost. I’m tired of feeling like I’m falling behind in life. I’m tired of trying to hold everything together while feeling like nobody really understands how overwhelmed I am.
I’m not posting this because I expect someone to magically fix my life. I think I just needed somewhere to say all of this out loud.

I’m trying. I really am.

I just don’t know what I’m supposed to do anymore, and I could really use some advice, encouragement, or even just someone telling me that things can eventually get better. (I live in South Carolina)

Im a M20 college student, This condition found me 4 years ago When I was 16 years old, I felt like there was urine stuck in my urethra near frenulum at that time. I have never had a girlfriend or any sexual intercourse before. I'm hoping to get some advice or hear from others who might have experienced something similar.

Symptoms:

• I've noticed that the "stuck pee feeling in the tip of the penis" (weak urine stream) is often there. Just a minute or so after coming from the toilet, especially after pooping.

• I have had issues with the need to go to the toilet very often (Usually within the 40-60minute mark after taking a pee)

• I pee normally without any issues, but towards the end, I get this sensation that some urine is still stuck.

• After finishing, if I stand and apply a bit of pressure, a few drops and sometimes even a small stream of urine come out.

• The feeling is generally always there but varies in intensity. It takes up a lot of my focus, making it difficult to concentrate on anything or enjoy stuff and relax. It's ruining many aspects of my daily and social life

• The feeling has also developed a bit over this long time, but the "stuck pee feeling in the tip of the penis" has always been there.

I have no pain at all.

What I've tried:

• Cystoscopy: Showed nothing

• Prostate size: Normal

• Ct scan report & ultrasound: No findings

• Different medications: No effect

The doctor told me to seek psychiatrist and that it's just a mental issue, but I'm not entirely convinced. Please tell me EXACTLY what you did. Types and number and length of stretches, medications and usage and dosage or any advice or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated.

I have epilepsy and I'm trying to get disability because I have seizures at work, at home, anywhere. I haven't worked in a few months.

If you need more info about me, ask anything. I just really need to be able to make phone calls. For EBT, disability, and getting medical rides from my health insurance since I can't drive. If I can't call, I can't do any of this.

Hello everyone !

I'm going to try to keep it short : my boyfriend (25M) and me (25F) have two cats. We also have a huge balcony, with a road an cars going super super fast right below us.

I've tried many times to ask him to be careful with windows because I'm afraid the cats get ran over. I've tried to find solutions like : if you need to open, just lock the cats in another room with their food and litter, they're not gonna die because they are kept in a room for 30 mins, they mostly sleep all day (unless they see a window opened, they are very curious and big hunters so they really wanna chase the birds and all outside). Sadly, asking nicely and talking with him doesnt seem to work as the problem have been ongoing for +3 years now.

He says he'll be careful, open a window, then go into another room for 20 minuts and I'll find the cats on the balcony unsupervised. He says he's paying attention but he really doesnt and get angry and yells when I make him notice. I've developped an hypervigilance due to his uncaring behavior and it fueled my already burning anxiety. I live under constant pressure because of this and even refused to hang out with friends because I'm scared to leave the house when he's here because I'm pretty sure an accident will happen.

Is there any way, any device, to lock windows when I go out ? I cannot count on him so maybe I can count on a device. So I can finally breathe and release the pressure and anxiety, for once. For reference, the windows look like this.

But anyways, I am currently struggling financially... my main source of money is help from my fiancé and I use my credit card to pay bills and things like that. Ohioan here, so I recently had a surgery and found out I have ovarian cancer. I am still in the process of doing labs to find out more info and if future treatment is needed. So far I’m scheduled to have a second surgery which is a full hysterectomy with a recovery time frame of 6-12 weeks. Because of my
immune system I usually take longer to recover from surgery/illnesses.
Unfortunately after researching on many groups on Reddit and speaking to my job, I have learned I can NOT receive any financial assistance during my time off work to recover. Only FMLA which secures my job position. So because of that I added some items I need before my surgery to my wishlist. Ok so I dont really need direct advice or help with this. But I just had to call this out. I posted a gofundme a few days ago to help with my cancer pet scan. For the most part the response has been incredibly helpful. And i sincerely appreciate the people who were about to donate.

However since then, I have had several people dm me offering to donate/send money on PayPal or cash app....in exchange for me sending them naughty photos. I have declined each offer.

But im utterly mindblown that any human would find this to be an acceptable thing to do. First off, if im sending anyone those types of pics...its gonna be my bf. And I havent been able to even do that in months because of my health issues.

I have severe ME I’m mostly bedridden but definitely housebound, im also autistic. Yesterday I broke my arm. I had to go to A and E.

If I am forced to leave the house it has dire consequences to my health. Today I’ve had severe head aches I’ve slept all day my legs are killing me despite being in a wheelchair, I felt sick all day yesterday. Plus the exposure to illness’s is a huge risk with my low immune system. (I’ve been bedridden for 20 years)

When i explained this to the people there they treat me like i was a diva, i wasn’t asking for much I know how busy it is just a little place to the side with less stimulation. (Asked politely) Even if the answer was no i don’t understand the grudge they all took afterwards. They were bordering on cruel, but completely uninterested. I have no one to stand up for me besides my mum whom they treat like she’s got munch hausen by proxy.

They had me in hours longer than necessary (on purpose, I’ve had and known of other broken bones and none was treated like this I promise) all to send me home like it was nothing.

Now they want me to come back, despite. saying before they would do nothing

Does anyone know of someone who could explain to them that I really am chronically ill and stop the cruelty otherwise I don’t know if it’s better to just risk the break, I can’t do yesterday again it was genuinely painful in more ways than one.

I started taking propranolol about a week ago, 10 mg three times a day. I have exercise induced asthma. Twice now, only since starting the medication, I’ve had something strange happen when I’m falling asleep. It feels like I exhale and then my body doesn’t automatically take the next breath. I fall asleep, then suddenly wake up feeling lightheaded and with my heart racing. It resolves after I’m awake for a while and breathing normally. I took my most recent 10 mg dose about an hour ago. I am afraid to go to sleep because what if I don’t wake up? What if I don’t breathe? I’ve never had sleeping problems so this is scary to me, but not emergency enough to go to an ER because I feel fine awake, just a bit lightheaded. I’m also not supposed to suddenly stop taking it, as that could be dangerous, but I don’t want it!!!! I’d rather keep my shaky hands than feel like this.

I hate that Im having to do this. But I have started a gofundme to attempt to raise money to get a vital PetCT Scan that my doctor needs me to have to check for cancer cell activity and spread. Delaying this scan can mean that we do not catch the activity or spread in time to treat it properly. My doctor has requested this scan from my insurance company and the request was denied. My doctor appealed it 3 times and each appeal was denied. And I am just not willing to allow United Health to be the ones in control of whether I live or die. The total for the scan is over $7,000. I have managed to work with my imaging facility to get a deeply discounted self pay rate of $2,520. My income has been sparse for the last 6 months due to having an emergency appendectomy due to radiation damage. Followed by being incapacitated by pain from scar tissue adhesions on all my pelvic organs until I finally got into palliative care to handle my pain management so I could work again. And now I havent had income for over 3 weeks since being admitted into the hospital for hemorrhaging and having to have a uterine artery embolization to stop the hemorrhaging. Its actually insane the amount of damage and complications that pelvic radiation can and does cause. But thats neither here nor there. If anyone can help in any way...donate, share, etc. I would be eternally grateful.

My cat injured her tail. I have no idea what happened but its definitely injured. She's in a lot of pain and keeps hiding. Update! It is in fact an abscess, as it burst while she was laying on my clean hoodie. 🤮 I have not seen so much pus in my life. It was so big last night this must be a massive relief. She was allowing me to gently clean it off her tail. The vet told me to keep it clean but she will still need to be seen and treated to insure it won't come back or get worse.
