Should I get my own TIN or should I just let my new employer apply in my behalf?

And yes, fixer yun.

Nagamit ko yung TIN na yun during my employment, and may 2316 naman, kaso lang record unavailable sya sa BIR website nung pagcheck ko recently.

And dito na papasok yung tanong, if ako ba dapat mag apply ng TIN ko or yung next employer ko nalang?

Thank you sa makakasagot.

Job Offer

Hello everyone.

May question lang po ako regarding hiring process. I received an e-mail yesterday na accepted ako sa position na inapplyan ko last week. Sabi sa e-mail, I need to submit the requirements before kami mag-contract signing and orientation. During the interview pala last week, pinakita nila sakin yung salary package and I was okay with it since pasok siya sa range na binigay ko.

Hesitant ako right now to complete the requirement because wala ako pinanghahawakan if ibibigay ba nila yung salary package na diniscuss nila last week.

My question is, should I ask ba the HR for the copy of the job offer before ako mag-ayos ng requirements?

Thank you to everyone na sasagot.

Resignation

Hi! I am currently on my 5th month, going into my 6th month with my current company. I am planning to resign because I want to transfer to another company that is closer to my home in the province.
My question is, if I submit my resignation letter before the scheduled payday, will I still receive my salary on the regular payday, or will the company hold my salary and include it in my final pay instead?

One day overlap - major issue?

My official start date on the new job is on September 14 while the last day of my 30-days rendering period is on the same day. I plan to use my leave credit on my last day.

I understand that it is generally unacceptable to have two employers. I reviewed both contracts and both did not have moonlighting clauses.

I initially plan to hide the overlap to the new employer since one day overlap lang. I am afraid na baka iretract ang contract due to overlap. Any advice on what to do? Super anxious ako because of this.

Question about Six Sigma training and it's value.

I've been a customer / technical support representative for around 4 years now and my new company is offering free Six Sigma White Belt Training.

I was wondering the following things:
-How "important" is this in the eyes of recruiters?
-Does having this white belt make my resume look a lot better or does it depend on the role I'll be applying for?
-Would recruiters really offer a higher salary if they see that one applicant has this certification over someone who does not have one?

Thanks

Should I disclose my previous job experience (lasted only for a few days) or not?

hello, would like to ask for advice kasi nitong last week ng July, I started sa isang company and 4 days lang ang naging duration ng stay ko. For context, nakareceive ako ng higher offer from another company which is yun ung naging dahilan for resignation, kinausap ko ung immediate supervisor and they let me go immediately. Nagsabi ako July 30 tas pinabalik lang nung July 31 (friday) ung laptop etc. yung JO naman is until Monday kaya binalak ko sa lunes pa magreply so dumaan yung weekend, nagkaroon ako ng time na pickupin yung TOR refresher at certificate. Nagrefresher review kasi ako last May 2026.

Also, I found out na naghulog pala sa SSS pag-ibig etc. si company since they paid for 1 cutoff (final pay received nitong August 15) then pinasettle sa kin ung overpayment dahil nga 4 days lang ako which is ginawa ko naman, binalik ko ung sobra.

I'm officially cleared last week nareceive ko na COE and 2316 ko from them.

2316

I-retract kaya offer if based on my 2316 , my basic pay 19,***.

Then based on the papers when I claim my check for final pay, may papers ako na ni-sign nakalagay updated salary ko like around 22,000. Which is in my application ito sinasabi ko.

Or pwede kaya yun i-request yung updated salary ko, yung papers na yun, I don't know din anong tawag dun. Nakalagay dun sa 1 bond paper that I sign, This employee name under etc...

Salary basic pay 2,**

Thoughts po sa mga HR here?

Previous employer refusing relieving/experience letter due to notice period – how should I handle future BGVs in India?

Looking for practical advice from HR/BGV professionals or anyone who has faced something similar in India.
I joined an IT company but worked there for only around one month. I formally resigned and requested an early release.
My reporting manager subsequently confirmed my Last Working Day (LWD) in writing, and HR also acknowledged the LWD. However, I did not complete the full contractual notice period.
The previous employer is now saying that because the notice period was not completed, I am not eligible for a relieving or experience letter.
I have already told them in writing that I am willing to settle any legitimate notice-period recovery/buyout, including adjustment against pending salary/F&F if applicable, but I haven’t received a meaningful response yet.
I have documentation including:
Offer/appointment letter
Payslip
Formal resignation email
Manager’s official email confirming my LWD
HR communication acknowledging the LWD
Written communication explaining that the relieving/experience letters are being withheld due to non-completion of notice
My follow-ups offering to settle the notice-period amount
There is also an EPFO issue: this employer appears in my UAN service history, but the Date of Exit is currently blank and no PF contribution has been received from them. The EPFO portal therefore isn’t allowing me to update the exit normally.
My current employer is already aware of the situation. I explained everything transparently to HR and provided the LWD confirmation and previous employer’s communication as supporting evidence.
My main concern is about future job switches, especially to large MNCs.

Hello, just got a phone call from a recruitment officer from a subsidiary talking about things about the job and the schedule for an interview and a possible exam afterwards.

no ot pay, but pwede siyang icover sa absences mo. pwede ba yun?

hello, i applied for executive assistant in this company. when i asked for the company's schedule strict daw sila na 8-5 lang ang office hours. no OT daw, sabi ko what if may need talaga na habuling deadline? they said i can work on saturday and do an OT pero no pay parang pwede ko raw gamitin yon kapag nag absent ako or half day. legal ba 'yon? di na rin ako tumuloy sa pag apply kasi i find it unfair? especially ik for a fact that position demands strict deadlines at di talaga maiiwasan mag OT to get the work done on time.

Is a 14k salary offer actually legal? Should I accept if I get accepted?

Hello po. I am a fresh graduate applying to the HR industry. Yesterday, I had an initial interview for an HR Assistant role under Training & Development in Bacoor, Cavite. Actually, nakita ko na sa job description pa lang na 14k salary ang offering, which is mababa, pero nag-try na rin ako mag-apply since I'm not getting any response from the previous companies I applied to.

So during the initial interview kahapon, I filled out their employment application form and put 16k -18k in the expected salary portion, since yun ang salary range na na-research ko for that position. The interviewer asked me kung ano daw ang ma-aaccept ko na pinaka-minimum, so I said na 15.6k since yun naman talaga ang minimum wage here sa Bacoor, although I still justified yung 16k-18k na expected salary ko. Then the interviewer asked me if nakita ko ba daw yung offered salary sa job posting, which I answered yes and said na I'm hoping that it's negotiable.

So in this next part, medyo di ko na sya naintindihan, mali ko rin na di ako nagtanong pero sobrang kabado na rin kasi ako non and it was my first ever job interview. The interviewer said something along the lines na, "Actually, si DOLE yung nag-assign(?) nung salary na yun. And that's the starting salary talaga ng mga admin position, pero once na matanggap/ma-regularize (?) ka, magkaka-adjustment naman yun."

So ang tanong ko is, is that actually legal? Kasi based on what I have searched, its a labor violation na under minimum wage sya. And I know, yes fresh graduate ako wala pa ako extensive formal experience and magpapa-experience palang talaga ako, pero that salary is not livable kasi. And yung ina-apply-an ko is a private educational institution pa naman.
