How much would Spider-Man's hospital visit at the end cost?

Like, it's bound to happen at some point, right? Hulk takes a blind flying leap across continents and lands wherever the hell, usually not knowing what or who will be under him when he lands.

I know the chances of him landing on people would be rather slim, but you can't convince me that it hasn't happened at least once before. There's no logical reason to presume he hasn't accidentally killed someone by landing on them.

I'm just taking a wild guess for this part, but the Hulk probably weighs somewhere between 400-500 pounds on average, probably scaling with how big he gets due to his anger.

Now imagine a 4-500 pound green man speeding down from the sky at mach fuck and hitting a person. That's more than enough to kill, hell I'm sure even some heroes or villains with higher durability would be crushed still.

All this to say, has it ever happened? And if not... why not? It seems like something that'd logically occur eventually across all the universes Hulk exists in.

Forgive me if this is a dumb question, but I never really understood why seeing a Jedi was considered a rare sight, especially during the Empire era where people make them out to be something of a non-existent/ancient figure.

Like, wasn't the entire galaxy basically under them during the Republic era for a thousand or more years? Coruscant literally has their temple and probably every person in the core worlds know of them and lived through generations of them.

My question isn't WHY they are so rare, I get it, Order 66 and them being hunted. What I'm more curious about is people denying their existence. Or outright being in disbelief when they see a Jedi, like something out of a bygone fairytale (or ghost story from the Empire POV).

But yeah it is somewhat confusing. It'd be akin to people suddenly denying there were cops or army, you know? How can collective populations literally not know who oversaw the galaxy before the Empire.

Or at least provide a significantly better quality-of-life?

Mid-23rd century medicine managed to "save" Christopher Pike. Given that decades of advancements have occurred between the time periods, would late-24th/early-25th century tech be able to (completely) cure him?

I hope I am in the right place to be talking about the show as I was just watching a clip where Arnold goes into outer space as I was wondering how their teacher gets approval for sending her students into dangerous situations.

I know it‘s a kids show as lately I was wondering how the safety procedures were handled in her classroom since again the teacher has a tendency to send her students into precarious situations that I don’t get how she didn’t receive a lawsuit.

In the movie, they state at least 26 million died worldwide. And the virus had a mortality rate of 25-30%. The movie spans for about 5 months until the vaccine is released.

When looking at real events we experienced early this decade, the pandemic in this movie was much worse. So how did that fictional world fare in the years after the credits rolled?

Obviously, they’re an intergalactic police force, but what does that mean day to day? Parallax isn’t always escaping, you can’t have 3600 (or 7200 or whatever it is now) corpsmen following Larfleeze, you need someone to actually watch the sectors. Day to day though, for an average Green Lantern, what is the move? Is Mogo acting as witness protection program for aliens in danger? Is Ch’p watching his beat? Is Tomar-Re undercover in a drug ring, collecting evidence?

Also, separately, but related - does anyone live on Oa besides the Guardians and the Lanterns or is it an entire planet with (maximum) 10,000 individuals living there on a semi-regular basis?

Hello, everyone. I hope everyone is doing rather well, I've got another question, this time in relation to everyone's favourite Kaiju cloners: the Precursors

How much would they know about humanity specifically? I know that they got the plans related to Operation Pitfall and that they were ​somewhat using Newton as a meat puppet in the first and second movies, respectively.

But what was their actual knowledge of humanity and earth? Would they know enough that they could identify/target most of the major cities, or do they have a much more basic knowledge of earth?

So I rewatched the 2005 and 2007 fantastic four because I got bored and have to ask.

The entire cosmic radiation shenanigans, like how did that even happen, reed said that the radiation is basically toned down power cosmic. How come they are alive, wouldn't such a power be enough to vaporise them even if it's toned downed

Also is there a factor what decides what powers you get, like why is Johnny burning, or sue being able to be invisible or has her force fields

Also did that radiation cause Franklin to get his reality manipulation.

Also how come Valeria has no real superpowers while her brother got them all

And if cosmic radiation is basically a weaker or water downed power cosmic, doesn't that mean one could gain access to power cosmic if they had enough of it or can refine it into it's pure form again

To my knowledge, lightsabers don't work underwater by default, but kit fitso made a huge discovery that allowed them to do as such. It was a pretty popular lightsaber mod since kit fitso put the instructionsfor doing it in the jedi archives, but it was something you presumably had to set out and do. So did Luke, Kylo or other lightsaber wielders that now lacked access to that information not have the mod?

Like I'm willing to assume Anakin's lightsaber had the mod, and after Return of Jedi, Luke presumably had most surviving jedi archieves. But during return of the jedi. The lightsaber Luke made, was that one waterproof?

We know vibroblades exist and amplify the cutting power of a blade via microscopic vibrations, but is there any equivalent for blunt force weapons like maces or hammers? I know electroweapons exist, but they don't seem to do damage via concussive force.

In star trek 3 when McCoy is in the bar he talks about classified stuff and gets arrested by federation security officers when the flash their badge.

Then when Kirk visits bones in some kind of holding center he encounters 2 federation security people in totally different uniforms compared to Starfleet officers

So I guess besides the obvious how would federation security people know about Genesis if it was a classified subject

Second Starfleet has security division so how is Starfleet security different from federation security?

Doesn't Starfleet handle all defense needs for the federation?

Hello Everyone, I hope Everyone is doing well today and enjoying themselves (or what you normally enjoy! I've been thinking of writing a Pacific rim fanfic so I'm rewatching uprising and anything else related to PR on Netflix, and I got a question regarding the PPDC ranking structure and the PPDC mechs.

I vaguely recall that the PPDC Seems to have their own ranking system, with things like rangers ect ect, but I want some clarification:

1. Are these ranks solely pilot exclusive? Or are ranks like Ranger for example available for anyone in the PPDC?

2. If ranks like ranger are solely for pilots, would it be inaccurate for me to use current military rankings like captain, Sergeant or corporal for other PPDC personal like soldiers? And to turn to my second question, is it possible that other countries sharing no coastlines with the Pacific to have their own mechs? Say Germany, or the UK for example.
