I really hope this goes along community rules, but does anyone know someone (or multiple vendors) that help with custom mods? I just prompted chatGPT to see if it could and I was surprised with the results. Obviously I would ask for them to use real logos but the concept all the way to the buttons look very cool to me.

I got my ayn thor shipped but it has not updated on USPS it has been since Aug 29 I don't know where my package is can get delivered without updating on the tracking or not I don't what to do

Just sharing a quick update for anyone who ordered an AYN Thor from AliExpress, especially buyers in the UK.

I placed my order on August 17, 2026.

Current status: In transit Shipping: AliExpress Standard Shipping Latest update: September 1, 2026 at 15:07 – package received by the origin sorting center Estimated delivery: September 21–29, 2026 Destination: UK Model: AYN Thor Max 16-512 in black

It looks like the package has finally been picked up by the carrier and is now moving through the origin sorting center in China.

I’ll keep updating this post as the tracking progresses, so hopefully this can help other UK buyers compare their delivery timelines.

Hopefully it arrives sooner than the estimated September 21–29 window.

My Thor is so close yet so far away. I wanted to ask others experience, once you received the "Delivered to local carrier" how much longer did it take? On GOFO tracking it tells me I wont recieve it until September 22nd. Please let me know your experience

I’ve seen quite a few posts asking whether burn-in on the Thor is something to worry about, and usually the answer is basically “don’t worry about it, there’s screen protection anyway.”

Well… I actually have burn-in on the bottom OLED screen.
I noticed it while setting up Cocoon. It’s especially visible on grey and blue backgrounds, where I can clearly see remnants of the Thor’s bottom-screen system UI….the circular/ring elements for things like system information, temperatures, etc.

The weird thing is that I’ve always been pretty careful with my devices. I normally turn the bottom screen off when I don’t need it, and the Thor also has its built-in OLED/burn-in protection. So I honestly don’t know when or how this happened.

And before someone says image retention: unfortunately, I don’t think that’s what this is.
I’ve restarted the device multiple times and have already tried running OLED burn-in/image-retention fix videos/apps for about an hour in total. So far there has been no noticeable improvement. The same UI elements are still visible in exactly the same places.

It’s not extremely noticeable during normal gameplay, but once you put a uniform grey or blue image on the bottom display, it’s very obvious.
So yeah apparently actual burn-in on the Thor’s bottom OLED is possible.
Has anyone else noticed this on theirs? Especially people who have been using the Thor for a while?

Hello, so I ordered a Thor and got the shipping information on the 19th of August, which was 12 days ago.

Since Thursday last week/5 days ago the status hasn’t moved at all. It’s stuck at the airport in Luxembourg for some reason and it still has to be sent to Liege in Belgium to go through customs.

Is this actually normal? My parcel is being shipped to Europe and the last-mile-courier is DPD and according to DPD they haven’t gotten my parcel yet.

How much longer should I expect? Thank you in advance.

GUYS I’m leaving for a trip on Friday. Based off of your prior experiences, do you think it’ll make it to Europe and a residence by then? Last tracking was completing clearance processing at Hong Kong airport. I really don’t want to miss its delivery, I’ll be gone for 3 days 😭

My Thor was picked up from the cargo terminal by Emile express yesterday evening, and I was wondering if anyone else has had them as their delivery service. They seem pretty sketchy to me to be honest, I've heard a lot of bad things so far and I'm worried my Thor is going to get stolen.
