ordered a macbook on august 30th for 2 day shipping for sep 1. some bullshit verification hold happened and i verified my details suddenly i get an email saying your order has been delayed and will be here from sep 2-5 im like no problem 3 hours later i check the best buy app and it says shipped arriving by september 15. i call support and explain im not going to even be here by september 15 and this is unacceptable and they said this is just the maximum timeframe for the order and if its not there by then it’ll be cancelled. shipping label has been created but nothing has happened yet at the same time as im calling bestbuy i get an sms text message from FEDEX giving me a completely different tracking id for the same destination but with a different origin and different weight of package, googled and i think thats the free subscriptions that come with macbook but that one is on its way and scheduled to arrive tomorow while the other one shows no movement.
Can i go into a bestbuy store and resolve this with a manager and pick it up from there instead because im going to new york tomorow what should i do.
I pre-ordered a Google Pixel 11 with a $400 trade-in and a $200 best buy giftcard promo. I went to pick it up on the day of the release. I told the folks I needed to transfer my e-sim to the new phone before resetting and trading in my old phone. They had a hard time letting me do that but eventually Geek squad opened the phone up and let me do the transfer. I was there for over an hour because they couldn't figure out how to close the order, but eventually they said they did and gave me the receipt for my trade-in but not for the purchase.
When I got home I realized the pickup was never marked as complete so I didn't receive my giftcard and I reached out to support and they told me it should resolve in 24 hours. It didn't, and after some time the order was marked as cancelled and I received a refund for the full amount. I was then charged again a few days after for the full price of the phone without the giftcard or trade-in credit because my order was cancelled and doesn't even show up in my account. Support is no help they keep telling me to contact my bank. Anyone gone through this? Should I go back to the store?

I’m buying a Samsung Bespoke ventless washer dryer combo. I’ve heard about the issues they have and plan to buy a 5 year warranty. Who would you recommend buying and getting the warranty through? Samsung directly, Home Depot or Best Buy? TIA!

Does anyone know if the Developer Program is still a thing? I applied for an account almost a month ago, have called 3 times, every time they say my account will be accepted within the next few days and it never happens.
The Developer Program itself has nowhere to call, so I have been emailing + submitting a form, but no response from there either.
It would be so nice if either
They just told me they don't do it anymore or
They actually got back to me
Does anyone know anything about this?

My PC is getting BSOD and I am going to bring it to Best Buy. (i have a warranty). Do I need to remove my SSDs and install the original SSD first? I know this is usually a no brainer, what I am asking is basically: will they immediately take it off my hands once I bring it in and order the part for repair? Or will they take it, see it’s broken, and have me bring it back once they have the part? Or some other process entirely? Let me know. Thanks.

Samsung $400 credit - what would you buy?
I'm not even sure this is the right community, but am looking for opinions on Samsung products. I have a Best Buy $400 credit for samsung products (cell phones excluded of course), and I have no idea what to buy. I hear complaints on just about everything. I'm leaning toward's a laptop, maybe the Galaxy Book6 Pro? Anyone have experience with that? Anyone have experience with any other product? Washing Machines or Dryers? Thank you for your help.

Is the labor day deal better for gaming laptop or should i just wait until black friday ?
r/Bestbuy • u/mowerboy9 • 1d ago
order including promotional items (included free with a laptop already picked up ) got canceled because I failed to pick up. called less than 24 hours later, got told by associate it is no longer available for pickup. What odds do I have of collecting the item if I visit the store and ask nicely?
EDIT: Spoke with Best Buy support, they want me to pay full price in order to re-order items included for free in my original order. As I suspected, full on grab is in play. Hope this helps someone in a similar situation (If you miss a pick up date and an order is automatically canceled, Best Buy keeps the promotional items included in your original order).
Clearly this sub is filled with characters who will defend Best Buy's actions, come what may.

I'm looking at 65" TCL QM5K and found out that it is exclusive to BestBuy. It was available to buy the other day but now it sold out. How frequent do they make it available since they only sell that model exclusively at bestbuy.
Thanks in advance.

Hey everyone.
I’m curious if Best Buy’s Black Friday sale on televisions is typically better than their Labour Day sale.
I’m looking at a 55” Sony Bravia 8ii. The sale that’s on now for Labour Day has the tv priced at $2,499 Cdn… $700 off the reg. price.
Should I wait for Black Friday or do you think it won’t get any better than $700 off?
Thanks!!

Hey all, had a strange (and very frustrating) experience at a local Best Buy today..
I ordered the most recent Bose quiet comfort headphones online on the official Best Buy site. When i opened it though, the color of the headphones inside the box did not match the one that i ordered (what was listed on the box itself). I brought it to our local store and the supervisor immediately told us they can’t exchange it because i ordered it online and that I’d have to ship it back ourselves. Not even a refund. I pointed out that the poster behind him with the store policy lists they will exchange/refund any item within 15 days of purchase but he still said no. He then told me to call the support number and I did so after stepping outside. The support number then said I can return/exchange the item at any Best Buy store (as I suspected). I also went through the return process on the app and it displayed the barcode with the words “please show this to any Best Buy store to return” (or something along those lines). Went in the store again and this time the same supervisor and manager came and said they still won’t return it. I asked if he’s refusing me service and they said “yes”.
I left and went to another store 20 min away and they exchanged it immediately without any problems.
I understand some people will return faulty items in a new box to try and get a refund, but I’ve never returned an item to Best Buy in my several years shopping there. There shouldn’t have been any reason for them to suspect I’m trying to scam them.. anyhow, just glad it got sorted.
Anyone have a similar experience?

The my Best Buy total membership (the $200 a year one) comes with tech support. How well does it work for an elderly non-tech person who has problem changing input on their tv? Are there support not covered belt the 24/7 tech support?

Hello all, I need some perspective. I currently have a job, but I've been looking around for something that's closer to home and pays more. I got some job offers, but the two I've settled on is Bestbuy or this bartending job in a restaurant. I'm having a hard time deciding between which job I should take.
Bartending/Server
I'm worried about having a fluctuating schedule though, and relying on tips for a decent paycheck. I've never worked a job that relies on tips and I'm not sure what to expect paycheck wise. The restaurant seemed relatively busy when I had my first day there, but I'm worried about slower months.
Bestbuy
The interview went well, but I was really put off by how my interviewer talked about sales. Said that they had to "legally" sell memberships to people. It feels like BS to me, and I feel morally conflicted about it, but I would also like a comfortably paying job while I'm going to school.
Idk guys, I'm just not sure what to do right now. I could just stay at my current job that pays $14 an hour until I find something else, but I've literally been applying to new jobs for over a year now, and I'm not sure if I'll get another chance to leave this place anytime soon.

Hey guys, I'm just trying to see. Does anyone have any inside information on when Best Buy will be announcing the new Sennheiser MTW5 earbuds? The website isn't showing any pre-order dates or even listings for the headphones.

My mom bought a Samsung TV on 08/14 for $1,999.99. The rep told her there was a deal that she'd get 15% credit , normally it's 10%. She has no idea how to redeem the offer. 1 person told her it'd be on her account. She has no idea what they're talking about. I was able to help her get logged in online and she has the My Best Buy Plus membership. The only thing I see is 250 points gets you $5 and the TV got her a little over 1000 points, which is $20. She went in store for help and they said it could take a couple weeks to see rewards. Does anyone know what promo they offered her or where she should look?

Pulled trigger on a TCL 65"QM7K last week open box in store, I didn't have a way to transport so they scheduled me for home delivery 7 days later (today)
It delivered today and it came in this HUUUGE blue plastic box that I have no way of breaking down. Biggest issue is it included no accessories (stand, remote, even a power cable...) even though it was listed as "open box - excellent" and should have had everything according to their condition guide. I asked the delivery guys if they were taking the box and they said that's just how open box TVs are delivered and that I have to deal with it(??).
Here are photos, my 65" inside for scale, it takes up a huge part of my apartment living room 😂
I've already had a pretty poor experience thus far just getting it delivered, spent hours yesterday in-store to get it delivered to the correct address today... I'm tempted to just return it and buy elsewhere, but not sure if Best Buy will agree to come back and pick it up?

I got an Samsung S 26 plus and paid for the best buy plus membership, one of the points was 60 day price match after purchasing. What's the best way to track all the current pricing on the approved dealers?
Also if I do the price match within the 60 days, then another price comes up lower, can I price match again?
