Bing Create bing image creator is totally useless now!

I came back for a while, after Bing sadly phased out the excellent Dalle-3 model, only to find out that the fucking moronic content moderation has gone even further, now it is IMPOSSIBLE to generate anything even remotely "sexual", even an image of two males kissing is blocked!!! homophobia and sexophobia have skyrocketed, now only idiotic silly cats flying in a rainbow sky are allowed! FUCK OFF BILL GATES!

Question Why does bing use yelp rankings for local listings?

Yelp is a dying app that less and less people use. Also, their review filtering is absolutely insane as the requirements to get a review in the “not recommended” section is excessive.

Is there a reason why bing insists upon displaying yelp so prominently in SERP?

Will they ever break up with yelp for this??

Discussion Want to shout out to Bing

New to this subreddit but would like to give some love to Bing. Recently I revamped my website and started to update sitemap to Google mostly. After a while, there is very little change and Google nearly ignored what I did. Then I tried Bing Webmaster Tool and somehow Bing loved my website, providing some page 1 impressions right away. Over time, now I am receiving over 500 impressions per day from Bing, and 10 organic visitors between Bing, Yahoo and its related AI. At the same time, Google is very slow to react, start with about 10 impressions and only yesterday start to have 20 impressions.

This has changed my view about search engines. In the future, I feel I may want to use Bing more.

Feedback Unlimited experience with MAI

Since MAI, unlike DALL·E, takes prompts largely as they are without adding much of its own improvisation, creating truly unique results requires more ideas.

Recently, I had a thought: why not make the AI work as a constant co-author for art projects? Instead of coming up with scenes, choosing the right wording and keeping track of all the limitations manually every time, I created a personal Gem bot with its own role and behaviour.

So, how does this approach work?

  1. A consistent visual identity: The bot has a clear foundation describing the visual style, character appearance and key clothing elements. At the same time, the wardrobe and smaller details can change with each new prompt, while keeping the character recognisable across completely different settings.
  2. Interactive art direction: You simply exchange a few lines with the bot, such as “Let’s do something dark in a rainy city” or “Create an abandoned temple”. It then develops the composition, adds atmospheric details and produces a ready-to-use prompt.
  3. Automatic adaptation to the generator: The instructions include strict technical requirements, from a precise character limit to avoiding unnecessary “junk” tags. The bot produces clean descriptions without all the usual fluff.
  4. Convenient bilingual format: Each response includes an adapted English prompt ready to paste into the image generator, followed by a version in your native language, making it easy to quickly review the concept and details of the shot.
  5. Complete flexibility: The system is not static. The bot can easily be reconfigured at any time for completely different tasks.

In the end, it became more than just a text generator — it is a proper creative partner with its own character, helping generate new ideas while saving a huge amount of time.

UPDATE: As this is an AI bot with rules and instructions, you can send it a DALL-E prompt and it will adapt it for MAI.

Bing Create 3:2 by default

Why is 3:2 always the default? 1:1 is much better. The height of a 3:2 image is 832px, whereas for 1:1 it’s 1024px. It stands to reason that 1:1 is the better option in the long run.

DALL-E used to have its own 4:3 aspect ratio, but the height there was the same as for 1:1 – 1024px.

Bing Create First impressions of MAI 2.5 Flash on Bing

Having used MAI 2.5 Flash for a few days, I can draw some conclusions. The model is ideal for my purposes. I’ve found some prompt tips to help me achieve the style of image I want. Most importantly, each result always contains four images. With DALL-E, it was usually two or three, and even then some had issues with the arms or legs. If you use DALL-E’s prompts without making any adjustments, the results will look rather unattractive. MAI is a different model and requires a different approach.

Back when DALL-E was still available, I would sometimes accidentally run prompts on MAI, and the results were rather mediocre. But now that I’ve adapted this prompt for MAI, the results have become quite interesting.

Question Did they say why they were removing DALL·E 3?

Was it for monetary reasons or something else? It was clearly the better model compared to what there is now

Discussion Might be done with Bing

I am considering a new launch page to replace Bing IMHO, some of the changes over the past months have not made the site better, and more recently, redeeming points have been problem-some. So, any suggestions (other than Google)?

Bing Create PNG Storage

Perhaps Image Creator could store images as PNG, like Playground does?

For images with this level of detail, a 500 KB JPG seems unnecessarily large. If the images were stored as PNG, the quality could remain as intended by the model, without additional quality loss from simply converting them to JPG on Bing's side.

For comparison, a PNG image from Playground is around 1.5 MB on average. However, it can then be converted to JPG with very little noticeable loss in quality, resulting in a file of around 200 KB that still looks cleaner than the current 500 KB JPG.

Of course, the JPG could also be compressed to 200 KB, but at that level of compression, the PSNR would be catastrophically low and the image quality would suffer significantly.

Bing Create RIP DALL·E 3

Today, DALL·E 3 was taken offline completely. It has been replaced by the MAI-Image-2e model. There are only minor differences compared to Flash. Unless the character limit per query is increased in future, there’s nothing more to be done here.

Flash is a very good model. I can achieve results that are better than DALLE’s. But there’s no limit on the number of requests in Playground, which allows me to get the results I need.

480 characters isn’t enough for Flash.

Help Links on Bing Home Page

Post image
3 Upvotes

Is it possible to blacklist sites from appearing in the highlighted list? If so, how do I do this?

I have links appearing here that do not appear when scrolling down because they have already been marked as blocked. For example I get links to stories in The Telegraph, but The Telegraph is on my blocked list.

Bing Create Bing did it

Now, when you scroll with the mouse wheel, the images for one result are displayed first, and then the page moves on to the next result. Previously, the page would jump straight from one result to the next.

Question Comprehensive Performance Insights from Bing Webmaster Tools for site: http://

I've been receiving emails from Bing containing the below content with the above subject header. Three points to ask:

  1. How can I get them to work with the https version of the site?
  2. What does this below text actually mean please?
  3. Why do they mention www.website.com and not the actual website referring to?

Crawl politeness issues on

www.website.com

The current crawl setting for your site is preventing Bing from crawling effectively and hence affecting the search results for your users. Please adjust the crawl rate setting from your Bing webmaster tools account.

Thank You

Bing Chat Bing Places listing stuck on “Pending Publishing” for months after importing my GBP profiles

Hi everyone,
I’m having an issue with Bing Places for Business and I’m hoping someone here has dealt with the same problem.
I imported my Google Business Profile into Bing Places. Everything seemed to go through correctly, but the listing has now been stuck on “Pending Publishing” for months.
I contacted Bing Places support by email. They initially responded to me, I replied with the information they requested, but since then I haven’t received another response despite waiting and following up.
At this point, I don’t know whether there is an issue with the listing, whether it needs manual approval, or whether it’s simply stuck in Bing’s system.
Has anyone experienced this?
More importantly, is there any way to actually speak to someone from Bing Places support apart from email? For example:
Live chat
Microsoft/Bing support agent
Phone support
A way to escalate an existing support ticket
Another support channel that actually gets a response

Discussion I built an alternative to Bing Ai search

Hey everyone!

I’m excited to share an early beta of Ping— a free, accuracy based alternative to Bing Ai search

Here’s what makes Ping different:

  • Accuracy: To me the problem was the AI search was too inaccurate sometimes I always found myself checking the sources and seeing something completely different, Ai search engines today summarize links. Perplexity states: "When you ask Perplexity a question, it uses advanced AI to search the internet in real-time, gathering insights from top-tier sources. It then distills this information into a clear, concise summary, delivering exactly what you need in an easy-to-understand, conversational tone." The problem is this is prone to heavy hallucination for AI answers as the core nature of LLM's as they are rewarded for guessing rather than uncertainty.

CJR stated that "Collectively, they provided incorrect answers to more than 60 percent of queries." Inspiration to make this came from Lenny's Newsletter I noticed the amount of quotes used to support his claim while he still talked in his own words. This made me combine both Ai answers with the way he worded his article(alot of quotes) reason being because quotes provide, accuracy, authenticity, and credibility via human answers not mostly AI answers unlike other Ai search engines which only summarize

  • Free: I'll be making this free to use just like Bing Ai search

I plan to improve the answers so that responses become as accurate and detailed as possible but it's a beta and I'll love to hear what the feedback is.
