Basically the title!

Hi everyone, hope you're doing well and staying safe. I'm totally blind in the UK, running Mac OS Sequoia with the voiceover screen reader. I want to learn Google Sheets and Google Docs on Mac OS. Does anybody know of any online courses that will teach me this or any organizations in the UK that would be able to help me learn this? Thank you very much, everyone 😊

I have recently been having some issues with my guide dog and I wanted to check in with other handlers before I reached out to the trainers.

The issue is my dog kind of refusing to move forward when starting a route. For the first like 3rd of the time we are walking in a straight line he just stops and looks at me and I have to constantly stop and start walking until he finally seems to find his groove. After he’s found his groove he is great until we have to stop or make a turn again and then suddenly he’s back to intermittently walking at a snails pace, and stopping and looking back at me.

Some other context that might be helpful is that he is almost 20 months old, and I got him in July. I don’t remember him doing this when I was working with my instructor, although I noticed that when I was working with an instructor he would almost know, and he would be so well behaved, but when the instructor left he would start to act up, despite my not changing anything about what I was doing.
He has had a lot of changes recently , not to go into too much information, but while I was at the training facility he ended up living in two different locations due to weather, and I came home with him for about two weeks before moving to college. We have been at the University for about two weeks now and I’ve wondered if it could be all this change going on in his life, although he is a pretty chill dog, and didn’t seem to have to much of an issue getting used to me as his person over his trainer. He is obviously very well trained and he gets compliments all the time on how well behaved he is, it’s just walking at a snails pace and stopping that is the issue.

I have tried giving him more food, in case it was a matter of energy, I give him a crap ton of water because it’s really hot where I am right now, and when he sarts the feet dragging I make sure he doesn’t need to go to the bathroom, but he does it regardless of whether he has relieved himself or not . I live in a dorm so his outside play time has kind of gone away if that is relevant, before this I lived with a fenced in backyard on about a half an acre, and his puppy raisers also had a fencened in yard that he played in.
Also since it’s been so hot he has been wearing boots everyday, and he actually doesn’t do this dragging on thing as much when wearing boots. He loves his boots and gets a huge burst of zoomies when I put them on him. Although he does still do it in boots.

can you have a dog you already own become a guide dog with Seeing Eye? like if one is low vision and wants to prepare for her final destination of blindness (me).

my dog is a belgian malinois, her breed is used for guiding and she already guides me around the house. just dont know how to get her trained for outside the house / like the airport lol which is where i bump into the most things. my doctor doesnt have any idea, but supports the idea.
