I love this game a lot, played it for hundreds of hours and Iโve fully levelled 3 VHs (Maya, Krieg, Gaige) and spent so much time just tinkering with builds and farming loot. This is easily the best looter shooter game ever made, imo
But the one thing I hate? The OP levels. Now thankfully theyโre entirely optional, and more player choice is seldom a bad thing, but I donโt think this mechanic was executed well. So many skills and action skills (like Gaigeโs Deathtrap) become pretty worthless. The scaling gets so insane, the build variety gets very limited, and everything is just more miserable in general
Iโve gotten 2 VHs all the way to max OP, but I eventually just found myself playing at OP 0 again, with level 80 gear, and find itโs just far more fun this way. Nowadays I just pull out my OP 10 gear for when I want to farm a raid boss for a while. Maybe thatโs the idea behind the system, โoverpoweredโ and all. You go into the mode to snag overpowered gear to then play at OP 0, which if so makes a lot of sense
But for playing the game generally? OP mode sucks ngl. I think BL3โs Mayhem was balanced far better (once they eventually introduced Mayhem 11)

The Lyudmila I killed him with I got from one of my other characters through the locker. This was my first attempt of completing this side mission on this character. Iโve had to do this farm for hours before and I just happened to get both legendary drops absolutely insane to me.

So, I'm lvl 31 Zero been playing for kicks and decided to do the Wattle Gobbler. I have found he drops quite a bit of Eridium and a bunch of other good stuff. He's a quick kill, (at least with the slippery torpedo launcher). I've gone up 4 levels since I started farming him too. I was wondering if anyone else has had fun farming this turkey and what your experience was.

Hello everyone,
I used to play a lot of BL2 back in the day. I finished UVHM multiple time with multiple character. I used to farm bosses and even tried the OP mode.
I reinstalled the game a few days ago and decided to start UVHM again.
It's muuuuuuch harder than I remember. I'm always out of ammo, ennemies are super resistant and I need multiple mags to kill a simple dude. Even legendaries dont do shit. I'm stuck at Boom & Bewm because after the fight, when I'm supposed to use the huge canon to kill the waves, the ennemies take almost no damages and their health goes back up really quick.
I mean I used to farm terramorphous and end game bosses with the exact same character.
Did something happened?

I got bored and started farming haderax, just cause. Ive gotten 6 badabooms in 15 runs from the middle chest, is this a better farm then king mong, or is rng being weird?

I remember reading a while ago that the lyuda is the second highest base dps weapon in the game. (Between the Bekah at #1 and Interfacer at #3) But it's also realistically the highest in the game because the other two are harder to all crit sweet spot with and the Bekah requires a crazy trigger finger. The lyuda also gets critical ascension.
Is this still true after Lilith DLC, or is there a higher damage option now?

Hi guys. Just recently got my first PC and have been experimenting with BL2 mods. Everything runs smoothly, i got lots of QoL mods, some movement stuff, and then the UCP and BL2Fix. I have the compatibility setting enabled, they seem to be running fine with each other. I have a very specific, small, but OBNOXIOUS issue where everytime I leave a menu, I get a large stutter for 1-2 seconds(and some characters have it worse than others). I thought maybe Gibbed caused this (tried giving my Maya a different head), but I dont think thats the case, as whenever i disable bl2fix the game runs fine. Ive tried a whole bunch of fixes already but the only reliable one is to just turn off BL2fix. It seems like such a nice and necessary mod tho, what should i do?

EDIT REBORN MOD NOT RELOADED
Thoughts on the Reborn mod? Im pretty excited. I haven't played in a while but have over 400 hours in the game over the years. Already seeing some differences that I think is from the community patch like Bandit guns not only having big mags but a pretty high chance to shoot twice. Already love this as Bandit guns were pretty bad compared to some other manufactures. Excited to see what else is new, let me know of any mods that I should be aware of that I may not utilizes right away due to not knowing of it.
Running this playthrough using Gaige as I read Gaige and Siren had a complete overhaul.
