Me and my friend are both pretty new to the game (less than 300 hours) and we have an argument about the hardest weapons in the game
we made two separate tier lists can y'all help us decide which is more accurate

I did it in solo queue 2's, because i'm in aus you need to be top 25 for valhallan, and my best was top 50 in 1's last season, so I gave up and took the easy way out

I will not be using any of the cosmetics, just did it to see if I could

After more than 300+ hours I finally managed to reach platinum in 2v2s. I'm just not going to touch 2v2s anymore.

By far the best skin in the game. Works well with all the colours as well 😓what will i do

1. SEASONAL EVENT: Legend Colors — Available for purchase only once a year for gold, which forces players to return every year, especially since new Legends are added annually.

2. SEASONAL EVENT: Podiums — They appear not only once a year but change their design with each passing year. Afraid of never seeing them again, the player buys them.

3. SEASONAL EVENT: Skins — Sold once a year. Most often they return to sale the following year, but already paired with a brand-new unique skin. The player buys understanding that they won't see these skins for an entire year.

4. BATTLEPASS — Every Battlepass has appeared in the game no more than 2 times, and even then with huge time gaps in between. All of this creates missed value regarding skins, colors, items, and other elements.

5. DELUXE BATTLEPASS — Even those who have already played through a certain Battlepass before will see several years later that a newer DELUXE version has been released. It costs as much as the full Battlepass but gives you only a pet and a title. Players are tempted to buy the Deluxe edition at full price again, even if they purchased the regular Battlepass before.

6. EVENT WITH DAILY TASKS: Skins — People are forced to log in every day; if they miss it just a few times, the supposedly free reward becomes paid because there won't be enough tickets left to claim it.

7. EVENT WITH DAILY TASKS: Colors — The game forces you to play to get 40 wins (which in reality can turn into many more games than 40). The opportunity cost here is that if you don't win 40 times, the next new character won't receive a color. But if you unlock all 40, you get an infinite color for both current and future Legends.

8. TIME-LIMITED STORE ITEMS — A timer is created, making you realize it's cheaper right now than when the discount ends.

9. BUNDLES — In a bundle, everything is much cheaper than buying separately, so the player is tempted to buy everything at once, even if the bundle contains items they aren't particularly interested in.

10. RANKED ITEM — Coins are awarded every season, so if you want specific items, the game tempts you to play this mode.

11. GUILDS — Weekly missions to earn tokens, which can then be spent on paraphernalia in the store. The approach is the same as in Ranked, except tokens are granted once a week.

12. TWITCH REWARDS — To get something exclusive, you must watch streams to obtain the item, because you're afraid of missing out (the action itself doesn't take much time and the stream can run in the background, but the very fact that you spend your time constantly tracking and monitoring, catching yourself needing to check in at the right time and launching it).

In total, I've counted 12 different mechanics; some are indirectly similar, but still distinct. I don't count daily quests for gold as important ones worth adding.

All these mechanics were added with one single purpose — to milk money from the players and maximally re-engage them back by forcing them to grindthrough all these tasks and other stuff.

I think the online population of 50k started declining precisely because the FOMO list has significantly increased. The game has turned into a job and no longer brings enjoyment. What was once a non-intrusive player retention strategy has transformed into aggressive retention tactics.

I have an idea for a video where I try to reach diamond in Brawlhalla as a noob (Have only been playing for like 3 months and just hit platinum). But the twist to the video is that I get someone who is very good at the game to coach me and try to help me get diamond. I just wanted to know if that idea would be interesting to see at all. I would just record my progress and summarize my coaching sessions in the video and show the viewers my progress throughout the challenge.

this was made by someone with 300 hours no hate to them, but as a 1k+ hour diamond whos been playing since 4th grade i gotta give my input. theres no world where bow is the easiest weapon. people only say this because it happens to be the strongest weapon in the game, but it isn’t easy. spear and sword are the easiest weapons in the game simply because they have the easiest kill options and true combos. (slight dlight+anything on spear)(dlight gc nlight recovery on sword). after that it’s fair to say lance, cannon, axe and katars get thrown into the less easier tier. these weapons arent braindead, axe and katars are easy but still meta, and then lance and cannon bully players who can’t punish. after that it’s entirely up to your opinion. I believe gauntlets and blasters are the hardest weapons in the game having the hardest true combos. I don’t think scythe gets that title because it’s just reads, similar to katars except if it weren’t as meta.

Anyone else find it near impossible to play a match at certain times a day since patch? It's been ridiculous for me.

Did they increase the black light percentage I didn’t see it anywhere in the patch notes but I’ve gotten like 7-8 this week alone where over the last year since they started I’ve gotten like 10-15 either I’m just getting lucky this time around or I’m running out of stuff they can give me asides from gold lol

Been 70 hrs in this game now, i have definitely learned how to play, some of the timings, being able to gravity cancel and everything, pre moving. But even then there is no FUCKING GROWTH?!?!?! IM STILL STUCK ON 1100-1200 GAMES. On the other hand the game seems to have a LOT OF INPUT LAG!?!?!. Its fucking frustrating now given its been enough time that i should have gotten higher elo now atleast. Plus the amount of fucking smurfs man.

I'm a returning player to the game and I feel i have noticed that the sigs on new characters are kinda overtuned, or overdeveloped in a way. The bar for new sigs is that they must provide some sort of combo or utility with movement, like the dsigs on qinghua and baobao, or the cannon havin dlight nsig true. Does anyone else notice this stuff?

Think about all the legends, right? we have a bunch of furry legends, a lot of tomboy girl legends, and the vast majority of the male character roster are rugged and muscular dudes. We have only two twink legends, that being caspian and Jiro, and these were released years ago. I think now that Qinghua follows the cute anime girl type, we could have a new legend that would follow the twink archetype to fill in a niche or to look different than the other legends. I mean look at aurus, he doesnt have anything unique about him outside of being a gladiator. What are your thoughts? Do you think I'm right? Raise your hands if you agree with me.

What are the characters in which the dex stance/superdex stance actually matter? ive heard ppl saying dex is useless, and others saying 10 dex cassidy is broken.

I was playing as Isaiah for the zoning, And yumiko because I liked her range with the bow + repositioning

But I played as Loki and Oh My. I like the Range if his sigs and I his teleport (down sig)

I didn't want to be a Loki main, yet here I find myself.

I tried Jiro but I think I still like Loki more

Obviously it depends on skill but I am curious since I like playing the game but find true combos hard to do. Although I play unranked for the most part.
