I'm in a tough spot here. I'm studying 10 th in akaash integrated course for 9th and 10th in my school. My parents didn't consult me as to what i want to do in my future and and that time I didn't have a goal and I don't have a goal now too im not sure what to do here I tried to convince my parents not to put me in akaash but they forced me to and I was forced to accept it and was also forced to join 10rh akaash aswell bcs they bought me a laptop. And now I'm in 10th and they want me to join suguna(entrance exam need to get good score so I can get scholarship so that's a pressure too and it's expensive.)pip school with like a new institute intetwted for neet and jee and I have no interest on jee at all and for medicine idek what to do I don't know if i want to go for medicine or not. What other options are there and what should I do now

So i am currently in class 11 isc and this school is so ahh like genuinely so i have decided to leave this school mid class 11th and take Admission in a cbse school from the next academic year is my decision good cause am also preparing for jee and my current school teachers aren't good to even teach class 11th.

Got this in our Hindi Mid terms. In short it is telling us the "duties" of students. How they should avoid spreading "unverified" "rumors" on the internet. Also, how they should take part in public "Government programs", so that they become good citizens. IMO upto you to judge. The timing is incredibly odd, especially after the whole NEET scandal and Jantar Mantar protests.

What should I do now? I don't need very high marks, I just want to get decent marks and pass with a good score. I can manage Economics, Business Studies, English, and Physical Education, but Maths and Accountancy look really difficult.

10th Marksheet & School Records: Name has an updated surname, and Date of Birth is 2009.

Current Aadhaar, Birth Certificate : Have the old surname and Date of Birth is 2010.

Local Aadhaar Kendra Issue: The local Seva Kendra refused to update both Name and DOB at the same time, demanding a matching Birth Certificate (which does not exist).

Collateral Issues: DigiLocker and APAAR cannot fetch 10th records due to the mismatch. Caste certificate also carries the old details.

So i study in nc jindal public school (punjabi bagh) and my attendance is completely fucked rn. Its literally only 25 percent and my teachers have continuosly given me warnings and called my parents to report to school (they didnt go). My marks are usually good but i barely attend school. Am i fucked or am i just overthinking?

Okay, so I was in CBSE my entire life, but I decided to switch to the IBDP because I really wanted to study abroad, and my parents supported my decision. However, I had already warned them about how expensive the whole process would be, but I don’t think they fully understood how much it would actually cost.

Now, while paying the fees for my expensive IB school, they constantly criticise me about the cost. This is especially frustrating because I got 98% in my board exams and secured a 20% merit scholarship at my school, yet I still feel like I’m being blamed for the expenses.

On top of that, I chose some of the harder subjects, including Physics HL, Maths AA HL, and Computer Science HL, and I currently feel like I can’t manage them without tuition. I genuinely don’t know how to study for the IB because my school doesn’t provide much guidance on how to study independently. I’m still trying to figure out basic things, like how to properly use my calculator.

Even buying IB books has become a discussion because my parents think they’re extremely expensive. When they found out how much the calculator costs, they were shocked. I think part of the issue is that they were used to the CBSE system, where these kinds of expenses weren’t as significant.

I always thought we were an upper-middle-class family, but right now I honestly don’t feel that way. I constantly feel guilty about spending money, even on things that are genuinely necessary for school.
And IB is only one part of it. I still have to take the SAT, which could involve another ₹80,000 or so in tuition and around ₹11,000–₹22,000 in registration/preparation costs depending on what I end up doing. If I need to take it again, that’s even more. I was also considering AP exams, which would add another expense. Then there’s the whole college application process, and some overseas admissions counsellors charge anywhere from ₹6 lakh to ₹20 lakh for their services.

At this point, I’m starting to wonder whether I should just switch back to CBSE. My parents don’t seem to fully understand how expensive studying abroad can actually be. They supported my decision to pursue IB and study abroad, but now that the costs are becoming real, they seem to treat it like I’m unnecessarily spending money.
The whole situation has started affecting me mentally. I feel like I’ve wasted part of Grade 11 dreaming about studying abroad without properly understanding whether my family can realistically afford the pathway.

I’m genuinely confused about what to do. Should I continue with IB and try to find cheaper ways to prepare, or would switching back to CBSE be the more financially sensible decision?
Would really appreciate advice from anyone who has been through something similar, especially students/parents who have gone through the IB → overseas university process.
