Success Finally my first “big” limit
So, basically you guys helped me get my family into our first home. From 480-500 all the way to 740 in just under 3 years. The day we closed and got the keys, we just HAD to apply for a card and utilize the score LOL.

Congrats! I also applied for a new card a few hours after closing. Citi has always been pretty generous with me too. My limits are $5800, $7300, and $4700 respectively despite not spending anywhere near that much on their cards. Most of my more recent limits have been lower due to velocity, but not citi.

Congrats! But remember save up an emergency fund. A home is a non stop money draining pit that never ends! At least mine is. It's one thing after another for me.
New roof. New central air. New water heater. Random plumber calls. New paint. Siding repairs. Gutter repair/replacement. Lawn mower service. Snowblower service. Garage door (and opener) repair.
Luckily it doesn't happen at the same time. But it never stops for me. All part of maintenance I guess.

Did you consider doing a pre approval on any other credit cards that are good benefits with $0 annual fee ?
You should try first chase sapphire’s preferred, capital one venture one, or a local credit union if you bank with one !
