Scholarship email?

Hi! I already got disbursed my fasfa and scholarship last week. However, I got an email today saying I have been awarded a scholarship and it will be viewable in the next couple of weeks. Is it a new scholarship? Or possibly just a really late email?

got the same email today as well. only one i know i got is already in my scholarship info so i am wondering if this is any of the csusb ones we applied for

so far that i can tell nothing. I cant access the scholarship site when i try but everything else is. I was the recipient of a scholarship thru SAIL but i had recieved an email about that back in august. I think fir the time being we are just gonna have to wait. however i do believe it might be the ones we did related to just the school wide one. they have the same email information. if you want take a look on the financial aid page and see if anything shows up on your end. since my tuition was paid off im getting the refund for the SAIL scholarship sent to me directly.

I HOPE it’s the ones related to the school because I was able to apply to like 11 out of the 15 or so scholarships they had up some time ago, like you’re stating. Cross our fingers we get word soon! 🤞🏽

i have the same thought as well!!! Even recieveing the email was unexpected so i could only hope its related to something i am not aware i got any dollar, quarter, nickel, dime, penny helps!!!

Did you get clarification on this? I just left a voice message with the phone number the email was attached with just now—let’s hope they call back.

I got the same email, all you have to do is write a thank you letter to the donor on the CSUSB scholarship website

You’re able to see the award already in your ‘My Awards’ tab? because I still don’t see anything—I just see the fellowship I was recently awarded and I know that’s not the “scholarship” this here email is entailing because a “fellowship” is it’s own merit award-based category above a scholarship.

If it’s a Fellowship, then you wouldn’t need to check the scholarship website. You’d just check to make sure to don’t have anything on your “To Do” lists and just wait for the disbursement dates.

I personally have not had my scholarships and fasfa amount disbursement yet

I already know what I had to do for the fellowship weeks ago and already received it along with my other aid on August 12th. This is an entirely new one, but a scholarship and this is my first one ever (which is funny that I received a fellowship first before a scholarship lol). I’m just asking if anyone can see what specifically their awards yet in the ‘My Awards’ section yet.

So did I and I applied to like 11 of the 15 or so scholarships our school was offering. I’m hoping this is the case because this would help so much, no matter how big the amount is!

I applied to a bunch during the timeline period and got one disbursed last week along with my fasfa but that’s the only one I had in the portal. This email I just got today.

It could be a late email? I would keep an eye on your financial aid and maybe send an email to the office to confirm. Congratulations on the scholarship!!!!

I only see the one I had already been awarded early in the year but not a new one. I did however just receive an email about a scholarship luncheon for winning a scholarship but I think it’s for the one I already knew about, I think I’m just going to call financial aid and ask so I can plan accordingly. I’m about $400 short on tuition :/

I called them an hour ago and they don’t know about it either. They can only see what’s already been disbursed on my end. But in the email, it has a phone number that’s not the same as the usual financial aid department number; I called that number and it asked to leave a voicemail and I did explaining this here situation. Hopefully it is a new scholarship because I applied to so many and have never received one ever.

Ohhh that’s weird, you’d assume they’d all be connected. Are we sure the email isn’t a phishing email ???
