camus basically says there is no why, or if there is, we can't/won't know what it is. he discourages asking. the inability for the universe to provide a why to us is the ultimate absurdity. so, instead of finding a why or giving up (philosophical/physical suicide), he recommends experiencing the universe to the fullest extent, which he defines as having as many conscious experiences as possible.
