Did your friends bail on you for that dope new EDM, Gospel, folk fusion band and need to unload your extra tickets?

Did you salvage some ladders off the Don Holt and want to flip them for beer money?

Need someone to pressure wash your lawn?

This is the thread for you. Rule 2 (no craigslisty buy / sell / trade) and Rule 4 (no self-promo) will be very lightly enforced here.

James Island Tri County Dental Arts

“This dentist has refused to release patient records of Dr. James Decker and has engaged in violation of HIPAA and identify theft. I recommend current and former patients seek legal counsel immediately in addition to filing a police report.

In addition this dentist has taken financial advantage of elderly patients and legal remedies will be sought”

I put the post in quotes on the google reviews part of his page.

If you were a patient of Dr. James Decker your records got transferred/Sold to Dr. Boller/Tri County Dental Arts and if you have have been improperly billed/over-billed, have any complaints about this dentist please reply to this post.

Dr. Boller took advantage of my elderly mother medically and financially and refuses to take responsibility for his actions

I need as many complaints as possible in order to take legal action on this.

Update 3/4/26, after speaking to multiple former patients by Reddit messaging Dr. Boller has engaged in fraudulent billing and identity theft.

I need everyone to take these allegations extremely seriously before making this post I consulted with three lawyers I know and Dr. Boller needs to be brought up on charges but the lawyers need more evidence from patients who experienced this.

Charleston Watch out for Benzo the pine straw scammer

Keep an eye out for Benzo. This guy just tried to rip us off for pine straw.

James island

He knocked on the door and my wife answered. He offered to spread pine straw for $6/bale. Seemed like a good deal so she accepted. He knocked on the door 20 minutes later and told me it was gonna be $1008.

He told me he put out 168 bales and “they were little and he laid a lot down….” The bed is less than 150sf. See the pic. He’s trying to tell me he put down 168 bales in 20 minutes.

Watch out for your people that might not know a bale of pine straw goes for $3.98 at Lowe’s.

This guy tried to intimidate me and I imagine he is intimidating to home alone women.

This guy is a full on fraudster thief. Stay away. He’s quick to pull out his phone and record so calmly tell him to GTFO.

White F-250. GA license plates so not sure what he’s doing other than fleecing people on the way home.

I gave him $50 and told him to leave.

Charleston Drivers September the first is here. Take the time to put the phone down and wait for the light. Listen to music or something.

Our phones are miraculous. It’s why I’m here.
It is better listening to music and driving without the phone distractions.
Believe me, it can wait.

Low-cost/free drug & alcohol rehabilitation?

I'm copying this from a post I made in another SC sub. Hope this is OK!

Good morning! I'm a former SC resident looking for some low-cost (ideally free) drug & alcohol rehabilitation options for a family member living in SC. They recently received a DUI & don't have much funds between them or their family to afford a stay in a more costly facility (i.e Charleston Recovery Center or more posh options). I know AA is probably the best course of action, but was wondering if there were any other more medically inclined options available.

For context: I am someone who's recovered from substance abuse, but I had to use what money I had to leave SC to find treatment (covered by my insurance) & stay sober. I don't believe this is a likely option for the person I'm seeking help for.

Any other advice or recommendations are welcomed.

I have a question Questions about Capital One Stadium

Hello all does anyone have a rough estimate of concession prices at the stadium? I was offered to get an upgrade to the Lexus Lounge but at $150 per person my wife and I want to know if it would be worth it.

Also where would you recommend to park as we’re driving in from the Folly beach area.

Searching for a Doula and Postpartum Support Groups

Our daughter-in-law (who is new to the area) is pregnant and will be delivering in Charleston in December. I would like to gift her the services of a doula (she has expressed interest but is concerned about cost hence the gifting idea). While Google has been helpful I thought maybe someone here might have some personal recommendations. And bonus points for any postpartum support group options. Recent news has emphasized the need to be aware of help /resources.

Business trip in Downtown Charleston

Hello everyone! I (27M) will be visiting downtown Charleston between the 11th and the 13th. I was wondering what kind of nightly actives and day actives I should venture to and explore to get a grasp of Charleston. I enjoy drinks, clubs, and some music scenes. During the day I planned on walking around through some the many shops and historic sites. Is there any specific recommendations? I also would be down to meet up and hangout with anyone! Just lmk.

West Ashley WA Spirit Halloween

Does anyone know what’s Going on with the spirit Halloween on Sam Rittenberg? They’ve pushed back their opening a few times and now they just have a piece of paper taped to their front door, saying “opening soon”. Was really looking forward to one being close by :(

West Ashley - Coburg Road (the Cow) - What's down there?

The road becomes private after the Overture 55+ Apartments - and if you look at a map there looks to be some houses down there. I was wondering if the farm is still operating? Or is that a private community or a family compound or something?

It's time we fought back, and by god are you not sending your best in me. How do I get revenge for us all? I want to be a horrible person in minimally inconvenient ways to them.

Good barber for beard

Title says it all. Looking for a good reliable barber who can handle skin fade and a beard trim without butchering it (I’ve been scarred; had to shave a 10 year beard). New to the area and hoping some locals can point me in the right direction.

Open to male or female barber. Thanks y’all!

EV charging DT on the Peninsula

Random question, but I live on a busy side street in the Westside district. Getting parking on the street is always a challenge and definitely getting parking in front of my actual house is like hitting the lottery. I have been considering getting an EV but one of the biggest concerns/considerations is being able to charge it at night. Does the city allow/provide for EV parking spots on the street like they do for Handicap parking? I havent seen any in the entire city so im going to guess the answer is no. The idea would be to run an extension cord from the house socket on the porch to the street parking spot.

Looking for extra work in F&B.

Is anyone looking for an extra hand on weekends and maybe a night or two during the week? I have 21 years food and beverage experience and can handle any aspect of the job. Front of house is where most of my experience lies.

Haven’t had much luck, so i thought I’d give this a shot…..

Anything helps. Thanks everyone.
