Genuine question here: I hate asking for more at chipotle but there are times where I get very little chicken so I ask for a little more. But I also hate the backlash, the slamming of the spoon, the eye roll.

I remember the chipotle CEO saying you can get more but I feel so bad asking for more already and then the attitude afterwards makes me feel even worse.

This whole marketing campaign is just so out of touch. Chipotle is paying anywhere from $10K-$20K minimum for each partnership video to have these influencers dress as employees and record themselves making bowls and trying the new protein and chips. Brands keep doing this and it’s just gross. Employees make $15-$25/hr…anyone else fed up? This on top of all the free chipotle cards for rich ass celebs. We live in hell.

In 2010, a bowl in my state was $6.45. In 2020, it was $7.45. $1 difference. But now, it‘s $11.50?? What the hell? Were a little more than halfway into the decade and it’s already $4 more expensive? for 1 item. What is going on?

I just redeemed my free chips for the new chips and I am honestly disappointed 😞. The powder and flavor are just not it.. it feels like its trying to be doritos but not successful to be one.

What are yall thoughts on these chips?

Man, i got a regular chicken bowl, and truly the difference with honey chicken was something else. i miss it. how good is the pollo asado? should i get it next time? does it compare to my honey, chipotle honey chicken?

Not to mention the serving size of chips is abysmal, regardless this is heartburn in a bag.

Mine is: Steak + Beef Barbacoa, White Rice, Extra Rommaine Lettuce, Extra Cheese, Fresh Tomato Salsa, Roasted Corn, Sour Cream, Side of Black Beans, Side of Tomatillo Green Chili, Side of Queso and sometimes, Guacamole! ++ I get a side of Tortilla when I'm hAngry. :--)

10/10 I'd definitely go back again and the price + the amount of food were pretty good, ($14.00 and this will feed me for at least two days (the only other places I go to that can feed me for multiple days are actually x2 the price)

I completed the August milestone 7 badge for the free entree or 1,625 points yesterday and saw the offer in app yesterday but put it off. It said I had until September 7 to choose one of the two but I checked today and the offer isn’t showing now.

Is it because the summer rewards is over? Is there any way to get the offer back or has anyone had similar problems?

Today I ordered a BOGO burrito entree via Pickup at Chipotle, with a double protein (Chicken) and extra rice, beans , and other veggies which are basically free of cost.

Through the course of eating my burrito , not to lie it was indeed thick enough, but all I could feel while eating was the rice, beans and veggies . Seemed to me that the protein quantity was really less.

Has anyone faced this while eating from a pickup order, is it am I the only one facing this ? It seems like unless we go there and order in person , there is nothing much we can do 😓🤦🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

Just tried the pollo asado, since having it last around 4 or 5 years ago. It sucks, and it is not the pollo asado I remember. And it’s not even that good. It could’ve just been the way this store made it specifically, so maybe I’m wrong

They’re saying that the new pollo asado has 5 more grams of protein than the regular chicken per serving despite it being the same chicken with some seasoning and some cilantro and lime juice 😭. They pulled this with carne asada as well, but they didn’t do it with Chipotle Honey Chicken.

I went in for an order today in New Jersey and noticed an interesting technique the employees are using. As they put a 3/4 spoon of protein in, they say, “Did you want to make that a double?”. Cunning technique because it puts the customer on the defensive if they feel the portion wasn’t fair. I jokingly made a comment (“Is that the go to line?) to the guy as he said the phrase to me as he did the 2-3 people in front of me and he denied it. Hopefully I wasn’t too hard on him. I thanked him after despite the skimp. I chuckled on the way out as he said it to the next couple customers. It’s just funny thinking about what the CEO said about asking for more vs what the customer experiences. I know the stores/employees are probably trying their best to increase margins for the shareholders/CEO. I guess the jokes on me though bc I’m out $30 for a couple half empty bowls 🙃

*edit I’m exaggerating. The bowls are delicious, just wish it was a more generous serving. Still love chipotle!
