It's easily the most fun mode in the game. Managed to hit Onyx in it for the first time last time it was in the rotation.

Recap

• LastShot started his stream today by recapping the drama from yesterday in theater mode and said "it's the funniest shit ever, I actually started crying laughing. Listen guys, it's really sickening, man."
• He said his team had the hill "two seconds away [from being capped], you cannot physically make it to the fucking hill. I'm not trolling, there's two seconds. [Renegade] would've had to hit two g-slides to even get feet in the hill, and there's two of us there. So it's going to be a 2v1 in the hill."
• Someone asked on a scale of 1-10 how much he was pissed off about FaZe not granting the full reset, and LastShot said "probably an 8.5." He continued "It's just not being respectful in my eyes. It's trying to finesse the system, trying to finesse how things are going."
• He claims if the roles were reversed FaZe would've asked for a full reset in that situation too, and that Shopify would've actually granted it to them. He says sarcastically "Like if you really need that one hill to win, then you're a beast bro."
• LastShot did give FaZe props for starting the Grand Finals series with a 2-0 map count lead and says "they were just playing really good."

Recap

• In the Grand Finals between FaZe and Shopify, Royal2's game crashed in map 3 just before Shopify were about to capture a hill, which would have tied the game up 1-1.
• Frosty requested a full reset, but Renegade (in game chat) and Stellur (the party leader) refused and kept it as 1-0 advantage for FaZe. Technically this is within the rules, but arguably poor sportsmanship.
• This made Shopify play with a chip on their shoulder and they won the next three maps to reverse sweep FaZe. LastShot said "every time you try to cheese us, it just makes us even more fucking locked."
• LastShot got the final kill on Renegade to close out the series and then popped off by giving him the middle finger directly to the camera and talking trash.

We're getting some juicy storylines for the Pro League!

Shopify have defeated FaZe 3-2 in the Grand Finals of Global Grassroots Cup #1.

FaZe started off the series with momentum going up 2-0 and capping the first hill in map 3. Royal 2's game crashed shortly before Shopify were about to capture the second hill, and Renegade refused a full reset. Then the angry Shopify came out and reverse swept FaZe to win the series 3-2.

In the highly anticipated first-ever matchup between these two teams, FaZe defeated Four of a Kind 3-2 in the Elimination Finals.

FaZe looked much improved from just yesterday (where they lost to Mercenaries 0-3). Today they swept Barcode's team, Insight, Incognito, Mercenaries, and won 3-2 over the consistent #2 team. FaZe are playing more disciplined, using teamwork, consistently getting power weapons and camos.

Four of a Kind is eliminated at top 3 while FaZe moves on to face Shopify Rebellion in the Grand Finals.

I get microstutter when playing halo infinite with my mouse.

I have a 9070 XT with a 9850 X3d.

I previously had a 5600x and thought that was the culprit.

The best solution I have found is to turn 'Wait for Vertical Refresh' to always ON, which is driver level vsync that seems to help with the frame pacing.

Also modifiying the config file and putting min/max framerate to match my monitor

I already have REBAR ON. I have messed with HAGS ON/OFF, C-STATE on/off.

Any tips on better solutions?

Jon "Skeptical" Dadi, the former world champion coach of the Splyce roster (Renegade, Stellur, Shotzzy, Eco) has called FaZe's gameplay a "pathetic display" and went after their coach Elamite.

Skeptical claims Elamite isn't providing real leadership to the FaZe roster and only has the coaching job because the organization wanted it and not the players. Skeptical says the FaZe roster needs someone to "discipline" them and whip them into shape. He says "only one person can pull this team out of the gutter."

Skeptical says he'd be willing to come back as coach if asked but expects "a serious buy in to my system, no fucking around."

Although Pro League is off this weekend, there's still a Halo tournament happening and six of the eight Pro League qualified teams will be competing in it. And because it's tournament format, there's a good chance we might get to see the FaZe vs Four of a Kind matchup for the very first time this weekend.

This is the first of three Grassroots Global Cups, teams earn HCS points towards Halo Fest for these. Points will be used towards seeding the HCS Invitational and first priority to purchase a team pass for the Infinite Open 4v4 at Halo Fest.

The two day tournament starts Saturday 12 EDT and will be broadcasted on both LVT Halo Twitch and European Halo Twitch.

Lucid got a nice overkill in his new team's first ever scrim against Shopify and LastShot correctly predicted the clip would hit Reddit.

Shopify won this scrim with an 8-3 map count. It had to be ended a few maps early because Penguin had to leave for his travels. For comparison, Four of a Kind's very first scrim against SR was 1-10 and FaZe's very first (and only) scrim against SR was 2-13, so this is a promising result for Inconceivable.

Feel free to use it and play around with it. I followed the process from their last tournament the best I could, but it is definitely possible there are flaws in the pick/ban logic. If anyone notices anything like that, please point it out so I can adjust!

Side note, this was just a for fun project that anyone can use. I've let the LVT guys know this is a thing - and while it would obviously be awesome if they chose to use it, I don't currently have any expectations on where that will land.

Plenty of room for adding features. Shorter series seems like an obvious one.

• Lucid discusses changing his play style a bit which some have already noticed. He says “the team that we have together right now is much more willing to do some of the stuff that I’ve been wanting to do for literally the past couple of years in terms of play style."
• He says "I like the pace that we play at a lot, it’s very needed. I think for me right now, this is the play style I wanted and that we've got going, but it has needed to be a thing for a while.“
• One of the bigger differences he says is being a bit more active, being first in. Across all players in the first two weeks of Pro League, Lucid currently ranks #1 overall in assists so it's working out so far and his damage is being cleaned up by the team.
• Their team is scrimming Shopify for the very first time on Wednesday (tomorrow). That's going to be their only scrim in the entire next week because Pznguin will be out of town until Monday. And this also means their team (Inconceivable) are probably not playing in the Grassroots Global cup this weekend unless they play with a substitute.
• Lucid says his teammate Falcated's triple kill was "fucking insane, fucking ridiculous" and that the team all went back to watch it in theater to find out what he did.
• Kuhlect says he enjoys teaming with Lucid and reveals they were going to possibly team together at the very start of this season. Kuhlect received an offer to be on a team with Lucid, Trippy and Descendant but Kuhlect was playing CoD Challengers at the time (and Lucid also stepped away from competing before the season kicked off).

Inconceivable defeat Ascending Baseline 4-0 to win $1,000 and improve their Pro League standing to 2-0. This is Inconceivable's second sweep in a row, giving them a perfect 8-0 map count so far which actually puts them above Shopify Rebellion in the current standings as the current #1 team (final screenshot in gallery).

Kuhlect is the MVP of today with a 1.52 K/D. In map 3 Kuhlect went 36-24 and in map 4 he went 27-13 with a Killing Frenzy. Kuhlect was also playing lights out in scrims against FaZe the other day where Inconceivable beat FaZe 7-4 (scrim stats). This team is looking very good so far and showing noticeable improvements every time they play.

Ascending Baseline fall to #8 just below Eco's team, and they've got a tough matchup next time too against 4OAK.

Pro League is off next weekend and returns Sunday September 6 with the following matches (in order):

Falcated gets a cool triple kill with style points

Four of a Kind have defeated Incognito (Eco's team) 4-1. Four of a Kind win $1,000 and are now 2-0 in Pro League matchups with an 8-3 map count, just behind Shopify. Four of a Kind played this matchup without their regular coach too - TreyTri was unavailable this weekend so Cherished filled in as substitute coach. 

Incognito did have a solid showing in the Aqua CTF where Acid went huge (31-19) to win the map, but that was their only bright spot. Incognito (formerly Retribution/Vitality) are having a lot of growing pains so far. They’re now 0-2 in the Pro League with a 1-8 map count putting them at the very bottom (updated standings in last pic). Incognito haven't shown the same level of improvement as other teams and their next two matchups are going to be hard ones against FaZe and Shopify. 

The final matchup of the day is Inconceivable (Lucid's team) vs Ascending Baseline (RyaNoob's team) coming up next.
