Conservatives Only Federal Agents Head to California and Nevada as DHS Opens Noncitizen Voting Probe – California Globe
californiaglobe.comThe agency said it has identified more than 24,000 potential cases of noncitizens on state voter rolls since April 2025
By Megan Barth, September 1, 2026 1:51 pm
The Department of Homeland Security is sending Homeland Security Investigations agents into California and Nevada this week as part of a nine-state “coordinated criminal voter fraud surge” aimed at noncitizens who registered or voted, according to an exclusive report by CNN.
Internal federal guidance reviewed by multiple outlets says HSI offices in Washington, Wisconsin, Missouri, Georgia, California, Pennsylvania, Nevada, New York, and Connecticut will pursue investigative leads, conduct field interviews, and support prosecutions from early September through mid-October. Officials say the work includes cases involving people believed to be noncitizens who registered or cast ballots.
A DHS spokesperson told reporters HSI “is actively rooting out and investigating election fraud wherever it can be found.” The statement added: “We have repeatedly demonstrated that illegal aliens can and do vote in our elections. Under President Trump, HSI is committed to restoring integrity to our election systems and ensuring that American citizens and only American citizens are electing American leaders.”
The agency said it has identified more than 24,000 potential cases of noncitizens on state voter rolls since April 2025.

Conservatives Only Critics challenge Minnesota outlet’s reporting on $9B fraud | Minnesota | thecentersquare.com
A Minnesota media outlet is facing criticism over recent coverage of fraud in the state.
Tom Hauser of KSTP-TV, a Twin Cities-based outlet, published a story last week titled, “It’s the $9 billion question: Where is the fraud documentation?”
In the story, Hauser pointed to uncertainty among Democratic lawmakers surrounding the often-cited $9 billion figure. He also cited an investigation by the 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS investigative team which found that documented cases of fraud that are currently being prosecuted in the state total less than $500 million so far.
The Minnesota Department of Human Services picked up the story, calling $9 billion a “claim.”
“Any amount of fraud is too much,” the department said in a post on social media posted alongside the KSTP story. “We recognize the seriousness of the issue, and we know we'll continue to see new charges as we harden our systems to fight fraud. This year, we've already doubled the number of referrals to law enforcement compared to last year.”
Hauser identified the source of the $9 billion number as a press conference in 2025 with then-First Assistant U.S. Attorney Joe Thompson.

Conservatives Only AOC Says She'd 'Probably Not' Date a Conservative
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) said Tuesday she would “probably not” date a conservative, according to a video interview.
TMZ’s Charlie Cotton asked the New York Democrat on Capitol Hill whether dating across the aisle was something she would ever entertain. She shut the idea down, then softened it.
“I have to say it’s probably not,” Ocasio-Cortez said. “No, you know, it’s not to, you know, no foul to people who do.”
The congresswoman argued the question turns on values rather than party.
“I think a lot of politics sometimes, at least for me, is about values, and being aligned in values I think is tremendously important,” she said.
Cotton also asked whether she would have children while in office. Ocasio-Cortez said parents have told her no moment is ideal.
