Help! quebec question

Going to Rimouski area of quebec in the upcoming weeks to go to Le Ketch. I am hoping to find cans of Bad Bones, BreWskey, Messorem etc. Any leads on stores that may potentially carry these cans would be much appreciated.

I was just up in the Gaspe region and none of those breweries show up at all but there are many amazing breweries in eastern QC. Frontibus is a must

Maybe the SAQ west of Rimouski (not the SAQ Selection) there's a few other breweries in town, maybe check with them for a good depaneur that sells beers.

Saq usualy don't distribute Microbeasseries no? OP, just ask the people from Le Ketch, i'm sure they will point you to a good place to find them!

They have some QC beers, but not lots of variety, especially in small town SAQ that don't have lots of beer stores around. They distribute differently than Montreal or Quebec city.

Good to know! I live In Montreal so I might be blind by aboubdance here.

Grocery stores and large convenience stores have a great selection but I was just up there...you don't see many Montreal beers

Nah SAQ are really bad for beer. Better off at specialized vendors and IGAs. Some Metro can be good if the owners likes beer.

You should try some hops from Perspective ;)
And then try bad bones and brewskey. Both are on it. Not Messorem but you should find some at Paradis de la bière or any IGA in Rimouski.

Rivière du loup has a small store « senc »that can carry some good stuff but Brewskey doesn’t pass Quebec since they self distro. The Paradis de la bière and both IGAs in Rimouski are good places to find good beers.

just checked out the “purchased here” on untappd of IGA - COOP in Rimouski and my god you were not kidding. their selection looks 🔥🔥🔥

Station Houblon a short walk from Microbrasserie Aux Fous Brassant is a great spot to stop a trip to Gaspe for me is not complete without a stop there both are on Lafontaine in Rivière du Loup

Oftentimes, neighbourhood depanneurs have some rare things just sitting there. If you're walking down a street and see a neighbourhood convenience store, just give it a quick look.
