! Updated - Per Rule 3, I am not asking for the chart itself, I am asking if I've overlooked any appropriate ways to obtain the chart !

Hi! This is my first-ever reddit posting, apologies if the request is not appropriate.

Someone in my fiber arts group has lost the second page of instructions for Dimensions Kit #13083 (Animal Babes Baby Quilt) - it was given to her by her late husband, and she'd like to finish it but feels she can't without the color chart. She's not comfortable using computers so I said that I'd help.

What I've done so far:

- I started with a Google search, but without luck. The pattern seems to be sold out everywhere; I believe it's been out of print for a while.

- I called Wilton, the vendor listed on the first page of instructions (see attached). They did call me back but said that they no longer own the division responsible for the cross-stitch quilts, and they referred me to a different vendor, advantus.com.

- I emailed that vendor (advantus.com), haven't heard back yet.

I don't do cross-stitch myself but thought that perhaps someone on this subreddit might have some ideas on how to obtain that second page of instructions. I've posted what we have in case that's helpful. The instructions have been translated into many languages, we need the English version. <update> Per Rule 3, I am *not* requesting the chart itself, only asking if there are other legal ways to obtain the chart than what I tried above </update>.

Again, this is my first reddit posting *and* I'm not familiar with cross stitch (I knit) so apologies in advance if this isn't appropriate, and many thanks to all for their patience.

As it turns out, the first page that we have does include the list of colors and their color code numbers, and we have the printed fabric and all the yarn. We're just missing that second page of instructions and I believe the preference is to work from a chart not a photo. I was hoping for a site for cross-stitch that is the equivalent of Ravelry for knitters, where one can buy patterns without having to (re) buy the associated kit.

However, it's great to know that there's at least one way to get that second page. I do think I'll wait to rebuy the entire kit until I hear from advantus.com. Thank you for your help and your patience!

P.S. I just saw a rule that says "Every Tuesday: No stupid Questions." Whew, I guess I picked the right day. Again, many thanks to all for their patience with someone totally unfamiliar with cross-stitch. The pieces on the subreddit are just gorgeous, though, perhaps one day ...

A lot of times the cross stitch patterns can be bought separately from the kit, but Dimensions does not sell them separately. Hopefully they can help you, otherwise she will probably need to purchase a full kit secondhand.
