❓Need Advice 🙏 Transactions blocked by treasury?

Hi guys, a few weeks ago my son needed some money so I withdrew some AVAX from my HTX wallet to his Coinbase wallet. I've done this before without issue but this time he told me it hadn't arrived.

My HTX transaction was showing as successful. We waited a couple of days and it still hadn't gone through to him. I then tried sending the same amount from my HTX wallet to my own coinbase wallet but the same thing happened. Showing the transaction as successful but not showing in my coinbase wallet.

I contacted Coinbase support but they weren't very helpful. I eventually managed to convince them to escalate the issue and they got back to me saying that the transaction had been blocked by the US treasury and I needed to complete some licence application with the treasury to get the funds unblocked.

I asked why would this even apply to me since I am a UK citizen, but they just said that it was because coinbase is a US company.

I verified my ID with the US treasury and tried filling in the licencing form but I can't complete it because it is asking me to select a sanctions program code, but I don't know which code to use and none of the codes on the list seem to apply to me. The options are things like arms dealing, people trafficking, drug dealing, terrorism etc.

I then contacted the US treasury via the licencing hotline form but they got back to me saying that they don't see why my situation would apply to their sanctioning. So I then contacted Coinbase again but they keep doubling down saying that the treasury has blocked it, and they can't tell me which sanction code I need to use because of their policy or something.

I feel completely stuck at this point. I don't know how to resolve this. It feels like my money has been stolen by coinbase and there's nothing I can do about it.

Has anyone else been in this situation before and if so how did you resolve it?

❓Howto How to get crypto for minors

“Hypothetically” I’m 16, have a job, along with investments in blue chip companies. Have been hearing a lot about crypto in the recent years but I’ve had no way to actually purchase it. My parents are not on board at all, neither is my older sibling. Is there a way I can bypass the age limit?

❓Need Advice 🙏 Bybit withdrawals restricted for over 2 months after I canceled a withdrawal — has anyone experienced this?

I’m looking for advice from anyone who has dealt with a similar situation.

I’ve been using Bybit for several years. I’m a freelance motion designer, and some of my clients pay me in cryptocurrency. Until recently, I had never had any serious problems with Bybit: I received payments and withdrew funds normally.

On June 26, I received a payment from a freelance project and tried to withdraw it. The wallet I was using had previously been saved in my withdrawal history and had worked successfully before.

While checking another wallet, I noticed that its address format/policy had changed and that it was now dynamic rather than static. I became concerned that I might send the funds to the wrong address, so I decided to cancel the withdrawal.

This was the first withdrawal I had ever canceled on Bybit.

Shortly afterwards, my withdrawals were restricted.

At first, I assumed this was a normal security/compliance review and expected it to be resolved within a few days. The original support ticket stated that the issue should be resolved within 5–7 days. I was also told by a live support agent that it should take around five days.

More than two months later, the restriction is still in place.

The strange part is that I have never been asked to provide any additional documents or complete any specific verification. I have repeatedly told support that I’m willing to provide whatever information is necessary, but I keep receiving essentially the same response:

I also opened separate KYC and compliance tickets myself. The KYC ticket mentioned a 3-day timeframe, but I haven't received any meaningful update there either.

I understand that exchanges need security and compliance procedures, and I have no problem with a review if there is a legitimate reason for it. What I don't understand is why a single canceled withdrawal has resulted in a restriction lasting more than two months, with no explanation of what is being investigated and no request for additional information.

These funds were important to my family’s budget, and I had originally planned to use them for a vacation in July. Because the funds remained unavailable, we ultimately had to cancel those plans.

So I’m trying to understand what my options are now.

Has anyone here had a Bybit withdrawal restriction that lasted this long?

  • How long did your review take?
  • Did Bybit eventually ask you for documents or additional information?
  • Was there anything specific you did that helped get the restriction removed?

I’m not looking to accuse anyone of wrongdoing — I just want to understand whether this is a normal Bybit compliance process and what I can realistically do at this point.

Any similar experiences or advice would be greatly appreciated.

❓Need Advice 🙏 I would really love to learn day trading/investing.

I've never necessarily understood cryptocurrency, the market, or anything like that. I've always wanted to get into it and learn, study, but I never know where to even start. When I was younger, I put in like 20 bucks into I think SHIBU coin and made about 200 from it, but that was just luck I'm guessing. I really want to dedicate learning, whether it is day trading, or long run investing. I'd much rather learn day trading. I'm sorry if this is not the right community to post to, if it isn't please direct me to the right one. Id just love to hear how everyone started and how I could possibly start and learn.

❓Need Advice 🙏 I need help

I'm in the US and thought I'd try bitunix. I made two 250 dollar deposits and placed 2 trades. I then successfully withdrew some of it to my coinbase account and figured I was good to go. Then when I deposited 1000 dollars my account immediately got hit with restrictions including funds withdrawal. What can I do to get my funds out?

❓Question Bybit Convert keeps showing “Conversion error”

I keep getting a “Conversion error” whenever I use Bybit Convert, and the C2C/P2P page has no option to sell crypto for fiat. My KYC was completed with a Chinese passport and Australian address details. Could this be the reason?

❓Need Advice 🙏 LeveX withdrawal still pending after KYC, anyone else experiencing this?

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share my recent experience with LeveX, and see if anyone here has experienced something similar.

I’ve been using LeveX for around three weeks. I had previously made a couple of withdrawals, and they were processed normally, without any major issues.

Recently, I made another withdrawal, and I was asked to complete additional KYC. I completed the requested verification, but my withdrawal is still pending. It has now been more than 24 hours, and I still haven’t received a clear update on when my withdrawal will be processed.

There are thousands of USDT in my account, so, naturally, I’m quite concerned about the situation.

I contacted support, and they told me that my account is undergoing an additional security and compliance review. I was also told that the review could take around 24–48 hours.

I completely understand that exchanges need to conduct KYC, security, and compliance checks. I’m happy to cooperate with these requirements. My concern is that I’ve already completed the requested KYC, but I’m still waiting for my withdrawal without a clear explanation or timeline.

Has anyone here gone through a similar situation with LeveX? If so, how long did your review take, and were you eventually able to withdraw your funds?

I’m keeping records of my support conversations and will update this post once I have a resolution.

UID: 1161019

I’m mainly trying to understand whether this is a normal LeveX review process, or whether other users have experienced similar withdrawal delays.

❓Need Advice 🙏 Less fee's on Pro/Advanced?

I was today yrs old when I found out that if you use the Pro or Advanced screen on an exchange the fees are way cheaper. Is there anything I should consider or tips that you would offer about trading that way?

I typically do the transfer from my bank at the time of buying and I notice on the platforms it's only looking for USDT to buy with. I'm assuming I need to fund USDT first instead of just doing the amount out of my bank account automatically when buying. Is that correct?

Open to hearing any other advice around trading this way vs. using the simple

Or should i go with passphrase ( after coldcard incident)

❓Scam❓ Have you invested in LendProtocol.io?

Have you invested in LendProtocol.io? Before you think about transferring crypto to them, wait to hear about my experience. They offer 12% apy for Xrp deposited with them. I transferred Xrp to them, and have tried their withdrawal process. It has been 5 days with no success. I have had some answers from support, but the reality is I can't withdraw xrp from lendprotocol. I would strongly advise NOT to transfer crypto to them.

❓Need Advice 🙏 XRP Found 6 word recovery and passphrase. HELP PLEASE. bought in 10 years ago...

So, as the title says... bought in around 5 cents. Just found a 6 word recovery phrase from old toast wallet I believe, as well as my passphrase. Bought and forgot. Yes, I'm an idiot. Anyway, tried Xaman but it doesn't accept anything less than 12 word seed and some other options I don't have. No, I don't have a JSON backup string. Can't find it. I'm aware of the numerous scams out there. Any real help would be greatly appreciated. Pretend I'm dying of ebola, and it's all the money I can leave to an orphanage of children who lost their parents to ebola, and please help if you can.

❓Scam❓ Trust Wallet drained overnight — same unknown address receiving funds from multiple wallets. How is this happening ?

My friend’s Trust Wallet was drained overnight. He never shared his 12-word Secret Phrase/private key with anyone.

The funds were sent to an unknown wallet address. What is more concerning is that this receiving address appears to have become active only about a month ago, and I can see funds coming into it from multiple different wallets.

I’m trying to understand how this could happen.

Has anyone seen a similar pattern before? What should we check to identify how the wallet was compromised?

I can provide the public wallet address/transaction hash if needed. I will NOT share the Secret Phrase or private key.

❓Question Why does sending crypto still feel stressful?

I still get a bit nervous every time I send crypto. Double checking addresses, making sure I didn’t miss a character… it doesn’t feel as simple as it should be. Sending money shouldn’t feel like this in 2026.

Do you think the issue is the technology itself or just how it’s designed?

❓Need Advice 🙏 Can't access a Hard wallet

Hi . i want to HODL Bitcoin and ETH and i know the best secure way is a cold wallet but the problem is that none of the manufacturers have shipping for my country ( Iraq) . so i search for another option which is a sourcing service but the shipping fees are 100$ apart from problems i may face with the shipment and custom fees which are 30%. so is there an alternative to HODL safely ? right now i have 0.05 BTC and 1 ETH sitting in my exchange . is hot wallet an option if i just write the seed phrase in a paper and uninstall the wallet from my phone ?
