With the low TER is it worth making new investments into this ETF?

Like most people, part of my portfolio is always in cash, waiting for the right opportunity.

I like the attractive transaction costs in DEGIRO but I do not like the fact that DEGIRO does not pay any interest on the cash sitting in the account 'between investments'. Let us say you need to part 5-6 digit EUR worth of money for your next investment when you are waiting for the right opportunity.

Do you just keep it as cash? Or do you buy some money market funds? Are there specific EURO funds that have low transaction costs?

I know it is not a lot of money, but I would like to compensate for the 2% I would get at my regular bank otherwise.

I wanted to buy an EMERGING MARKETS ETFs and none of them are showing on Xetra or EAM, despite being traded on those exchanges. They only show me the shit Tradegate option with terrible spread, why are they doing this?

Does anyone know when the Vanguard FTSE Global All-Cap UCITS ETF will become avaliable? ISIN: IE000VAHT5T0 Ticker: VALL / VGLA

My question is: can we buy calls, puts, and besides that go short on stocks in degiro? All kind of stocks, or selected ones?

I have a basic account where I just buy shares. I wonder if the things I look for are doable in degiro when switching to a trader account. But I also do wonder to which type of trader account, because there are 2 of them?

I'm booking someone can give me some advice.

Degiro have recently decided that I'm a US citizen. I'm not. I've had my account for about a decade and I don't use it that much.

I've emailed client@degiro a number of times and I've just emailed kyc@degiro as well. No answer at all.

I'm British. My ID is British, my address is British, my bank account is British.

I also need to change the bank account they have linked, but after sending the verification amount, it was sent back a couple of days later, so it's not registering that one sent the verification amount.

I want to sell anything in the portfolio, close the account and have any funds sent to my current bank account.

Any idea how to get this done?

First time trying to trade options.

I pulled up the December 2026 options chain for XSP (S&P 500 Mini Index) on CBOE, and every strike shows dashes (–) instead of actual bid/ask prices, on both calls and puts. I tried strikes closer to the current XSP price (around 670-685) and still nothing.

I've got an Active/Trader account already set up so I can access options. Or could it just be that I'm checking outside US market hours?

Any pointers from would be really appreciated. Thanks!

I'm based in France and I was looking to invest in the Amundi Fixed Maturity 2027 Euro Government Bond Broad UCITS ETF Acc (ISIN: LU2872291435).

However, I can't find it anywhere on DEGIRO, while the Amundi Fixed Maturity 2028 Euro Government Bond Broad UCITS ETF Acc (LU2780871310) is available.

Both seem to be UCITS ETFs and should be available to EU retail investors, so I'm wondering why only one of them appears on DEGIRO.

Has anyone else noticed this? Is it simply because DEGIRO hasn't onboarded the 2027 ETF yet, or is there another reason (liquidity, exchange listing, PRIIPs/KID, etc.)?

Do you choose TradeGate over other stock exchanges to buy your ETF? It is worth the 2€ saving?

Degiro seems surprisingly expensive these days and the reporting is practically non-existent. I feel like I'm missing something because it's still one of the most recommended brokers.

Is there a reason people still prefer it? Is it mainly for ETFs, or are there other advantages I'm overlooking?

I'm thinking of converting my VUSA shares into VWRL/VWCE shares by changing strategy from owning the S&P 500 to owning to Total Stock Market.

I'm wondering though whats the best and cheapest way to do it?

1. Just sell VUSA and rebuy VWRL/VWCE as fast as possible. Is that possible with large sums or are there things to take into account with that?

2. Ask DEGIRO to convert the shares. If so, what does that cost?

3. Some other way?

As you can see the pice is depicted at 106,34 while in the graph is 108,96. Why the difference. At which price should a potential buying/ selling proceed?

I cannot open the app via WiFi but works on mobile data. Web version works fine too. I have tried all resets, cleared data and cache, reinstalled the app, on Android. Anybody else has the same experience, for the last few days?

I own shares of Just Eat Takeaway on DEGIRO, but I'm currently unable to sell them. The platform doesn't give me the option to place a sell order.

I know there has been an acquisition process involving Prosus, but I'm not sure if that's the reason or if I'm missing something on my account. It says the maximum amount of orders is 0.

Has anyone else experienced this? Do I need to take any action, or do I just need to wait for the process to be completed?

I want to show to the finanazamt that the transaction match the Degiro Jahresübersicht for 2024.

I´m calculating 6168,49 - (134,62+3268,1) = 2765,75 but it´s different from the 2797,52 that Degiro shows. What I´m doing wrong in these case. Thanks

App is taking a long long time to load , not loading anybody facing same issue

Final Edit 3: this is fixed between ziggo and degiro and works again with ziggo network.

Edit 1- it immediately opens if I switch to mobile network ( thanks to a comment below ) I use ziggo wifi at home , why would it block the connection

Edit 2 - switch to mobile network , login degiro , switch to wifi again. Inconvenient but works
