Defending AI Game developer is in favor of AI and antis don't like it

When they shit out that fuckass "your ai slop bores me" image a million times they are right and just and good, but when a game developer who is at the receiving end of the relentless onslaught of whining claps back on it, suddenly he is wrong and wicked and bad.

Defending AI This is why I’ll always defend Ai art

I’ve wanted to make my own comic for a long time, but I never had the ability to draw what I could see in my head. AI changed that for me

These are some consecutive pages from my comic Manifest. I plan the story, write the dialogue, decide the shots and panel layouts, generate the pieces I need, then put everything together myself with the pacing, effects, composition, etc.

I know AI art gets a ton of hate, and there are definitely things about it that still need to improve, but this is why I’ll always defend the technology. Without it, this story probably would’ve stayed in my head. Now I can actually make it.

Im still learning and improving as I go, but I’m really happy with how far it’s come.

I was about to print the rest, but the purple pfp guy blocked me because I kept saying soul only comes from humans, not drawings. Let alone the insults and etc.

Luddite Logic I find it geniunely, so ironic, and I'm saying this as someone who is Gen z that:

This generation, which is infamously hated for being so soft and pathetic, made a slur for Robots and AI (and, despite saying "AI steals!!!" they got it from Star Wars)

the same generation obsessed with policing words. Makes their own slur for AI and Robots.

isn't that ironic?

Defending AI I think people confuse artistic skill with creativity way too much

Something I've noticed in a lot of arguments about AI art is this assumption that if you couldn't create something before AI, then you must not have been creative.

But those aren't really the same thing.

Someone can have an idea for a song, write the lyrics, know exactly how they want it to feel, and still have no idea how to sing, produce or play an instrument.

That doesn't mean the idea wasn't there.

I've noticed this a lot with AI music. I've come across people on AI-music platforms like Souna making full songs and building entire artist identities who probably never would've made music at all a few years ago.

And that's honestly one of the things I find most interesting about generative AI.

Maybe AI isn't suddenly making everyone creative.

Maybe there were always way more creative people than we realized, and they just didn't have the tools to express it

AI Developments I feel that generative A.I. will get better as the days go by.

Now I may be pro-ai but I do not like low-effort content, whether it's made with A.I. or not. But I feel that this is due to genAI being relatively new, and it will slowly get better to the point it isn't noticeable.

Also screw deepfakes.

If someone tells me AI A writing isn't real writing

Post image

Maybe it's not writing in the traditional sense but it is storytelling. All stories were oral long before anything was ever written.

People said cameras would take away painting. It didn't.

People said the recorder would ruin live music. It didn't.

Every time new technology comes along, the game changes but art is in our human DNA. Every village had a storyteller, an artist and a musician.

Suprisingly, my first time getting one of those "we need an anti-AI rule" posts.

not suprised that the points made in the post are the same that we've heard a bunch of times already.

The crayons are horribly made and also just like you said, weak. There’s no way a single soul can draw with those, and also that was just a video of someone flipping their sketchbook full of crayon drawings, with “I use ai because I can’t draw” in the text to gain more traction.

Crayons are an effective way of drawing, however these types of videos are just used with that pink text to mock and belittle those who choose to use ai

Luddite Logic Someone make a mod where you can kill an AI chibi character that looks quite concerning, at least to me

I understand the hate of AI, but how could you sit at the desk one day and think, "Man, I should make a mod in Minecraft where you can KILL an AI-modified chibi character from Arknights that screams or cries a BABY voice when being hurt!"

Worse thing is, people in the comments are supportive of this project. Anyone who expressed concern or called him out was ratioed or said they "deserve it at bare minimum" because... Is it AI?

(Mod, if I didn't censor enough, please tell me what I should censor more.)

Luddite Logic I just got my first anti-AI Youtube ad ever

Post image

As the title says, I just got my first ever anti-AI Youtube ad a few minutes ago. It was a short propaganda video with words flashing one by one, said shit like « AI cannot create, only copy », « AI replaces artists and musicians », and « Human art is not data », I think that last one might have been the ad’s name. I was on my phone’s web browser and not logged in so that was with the default algorithm, and I couldn’t grab the link to the ad in time, it normally involves going into the video’s stats to grab the ID and I didn’t find where that option is located on the web version quick enough. It took me by surprise to be honest. I’ll definitely try to get it again to share it here, but I don’t think I can possibly get it with my account logged in, since I have watched pro-AI videos in the past. So watch out!

I already tried refreshing an anti-AI video multiple times to try to get the ad again but with no success. I did see the top comment of the video I was refreshing though, I included it here because, well, it speaks for itself.

Not beating the psychopaths allegations :’)
