i’ve made a comprehensive list of interactions in game that may suggest the possibility of dess being the roaring knight:

slides 1 - 4: strange aggression towards susie if kris brings them to the hospital. (this could be due to dess’s deep-seated hatred of the poor, though its more likely that dess would rather conspire with kris without prying eyes.)

slides 5-6: dess winks at kris when she refers to going to the church, which may be a discrete way of addressing the next location of the dark fountain to them. seeing as she’s present in the church, she’s well capable of enacting that plan.

slide 7: same laugh(?)

slides 8-10: dess suggests holidays are “full of surprises” which may allude to her secret motivations to enact the roaring

slides 11-12: rudy worries for his daughter, which may allude to her involvement in the kidnappings and the coming roaring, though the truthfulness of his claims are still up for speculation

slide 13: lyrics in the chapter 1 credits song could be subliminally communicating the events of the future chapters.
