Imagine if it was him instead of Ron. Or even him instead Hermione. A group of three boys from very different backgrounds getting in and out of trouble together and saving each other’s butts, leading to a lot of different choices and dynamics as they got older and Voldemort got closer.

I wanted to read a fic where Draco's a widowed single father to Scorpius and Dramione eventually gets together, but I DO NOT want the story to dismiss Astoria's importance in all of this. I want it to be clear how much she was loved by her husband and how he was deeply devastated by her death. Hermione can be divorced too, I don't care. I just want some respect to Astoria. (I've wanted to read MOAM for a long time but I don't know if they do justice to Astoria, so if you've already read it and you think it does, I'm accepting the recommendantions)

So I have been rereading a bunch of Veela Draco stories and loving them all over again, but one keeps popping up in my head and I can't seem to find it in all my saves. I don't know if I didnt like the end or its just not finished, or its one of a couple that I saved the link, but they were taken down for whatever reason. So hoping you all know this fic and can tell me if its still up on A03.

Draco is a Veela and I think Snape is alive.... I could be mixing that part up.

But Draco has to find his mate and when he smells her he could react badly. So for everyone's safety they put Draco in a separate room and then give him an airway so that he can smell every 7th and 8th year girl as they enter the Great Hall.

Then again...I am not sure if I am combining 2 fics, but I feel like Draco tries to breakdown the door to the Great Hall to get to his mate (obliviously Hermione). And a girl steps out in his way thinking he is there for her and he like shoves her away to get to Hermione.

This all happens pretty early on in the fic but I can't remember anything else about it...so maybe its a WIP?

I’ve been wracking my brains over this since last night. I remember reading it before. It’s nottpott side pairing. I remember Hermione and Ron didn’t know Harry is gay, and Harry confessed that his partner might not be a girl. And they were talking in the Great Hall I think and waiting to be called up to the Headmaster’s office so they could know who their partner is.

I feel like I'm going crazy, there was a fic when in the middle of the battle of hogwarts Voldemort but the entire area down in some magic stasis almost like a dome and the part of the magical world that was put continued life but inside the dome they were like gladiator fighting and then somehow draco and hermione have this mind connection and she enters the dome, it was so well written he was so hot

I have really found these types of fics to be the perfect comfort/escape when my actual life gets tough.

Looking for stories with little to zero dark themes, where everyone who matters is essentially psychologically mature and not toxic, and where Draco and Hermione for whatever reason have not gotten together yet even though they are the perfect fit. Enemies to lovers works for me only as long as the enemies are not actually wanting to murder each other, only figuratively or pretending to.

Omg, I love this fic with my whole heart. So basically from what I remember Hermione is an empty shell, depressed and not the same after the Wizarding War. The story starts when she goes to muggle pubs to drink because she won’t be recognized and drinks until she forgets of all her problems. One day, she stumbles across Draco at the pub and he asks why she’s here and he asks the question back and that moment is where the whole intimate relationship and everything starts. In which, they do it to forget of all of their life problems (draco has family problems and hermione questions who she is after the war and her values). Yeah, I also do not remember if he was slightly abusive. For her reputation, she’s in a relationship with Ron Weasley as a front because she cares so much about what everyone would say and think—she knows he’s cheating on her and he knows she’s cheating on him with Draco. Harry, the Weasleys, and her friend group all secretly know of her relationship with Draco but they don’t tell it to her face, they instead give harsh vague advice disagreeing talking about taking care of her reputation and stuff.

Fast forward….At one point, Ron proposes to Hermione and she accepts because she’s stupid, unhappy, miserable, coward bitch that wants to put everyones wants before hers even though being with Draco would make her happier. Okay so as she’s preparing to walk down the aisle, she gets stalled by Draco asking her seriously if this marriage with Ron is truly what she wants and that he would run away with her to somewhere no one would know them and live happily ever after if she just says the word. But she rejects and then they shag the feelings out and he says his offer will forever be on the table. She walks down the aisle disheveled and Ron knows but doesn’t acknowledge. During the whole marriage, she will always pack a bag to run away but Ron will somehow find it and always unpack it but never says a word. And the cycle repeats.. she’ll always wonder what would’ve happened if she said yes or if he has decided to marry a pureblood witch to forget all about her.
