I wanted to read a fic where Draco's a widowed single father to Scorpius and Dramione eventually gets together, but I DO NOT want the story to dismiss Astoria's importance in all of this. I want it to be clear how much she was loved by her husband and how he was deeply devastated by her death. Hermione can be divorced too, I don't care. I just want some respect to Astoria. (I've wanted to read MOAM for a long time but I don't know if they do justice to Astoria, so if you've already read it and you think it does, I'm accepting the recommendantions)

Imagine if it was him instead of Ron. Or even him instead Hermione. A group of three boys from very different backgrounds getting in and out of trouble together and saving each other’s butts, leading to a lot of different choices and dynamics as they got older and Voldemort got closer.

Anyone have fic recs with these vibes? I think it would be really interesting.

So I have been rereading a bunch of Veela Draco stories and loving them all over again, but one keeps popping up in my head and I can't seem to find it in all my saves. I don't know if I didnt like the end or its just not finished, or its one of a couple that I saved the link, but they were taken down for whatever reason. So hoping you all know this fic and can tell me if its still up on A03.

Draco is a Veela and I think Snape is alive.... I could be mixing that part up.

But Draco has to find his mate and when he smells her he could react badly. So for everyone's safety they put Draco in a separate room and then give him an airway so that he can smell every 7th and 8th year girl as they enter the Great Hall.

Then again...I am not sure if I am combining 2 fics, but I feel like Draco tries to breakdown the door to the Great Hall to get to his mate (obliviously Hermione). And a girl steps out in his way thinking he is there for her and he like shoves her away to get to Hermione.

This all happens pretty early on in the fic but I can't remember anything else about it...so maybe its a WIP?

This can be positive interactions or negative interactions (kind of like Walburga). Love when Draco or any of the other Malfoys defend her. Also love it when one of the portraits actually likes her.

I’ve been wracking my brains over this since last night. I remember reading it before. It’s nottpott side pairing. I remember Hermione and Ron didn’t know Harry is gay, and Harry confessed that his partner might not be a girl. And they were talking in the Great Hall I think and waiting to be called up to the Headmaster’s office so they could know who their partner is.

All I can remember from this fic is that Hermione helped design to communication tool for wizards. I think like the mobile but for wizards.

She is the silent partner though for the twins. I don’t think anyone knows apart from the twins. It’s made her a lot of money. I think it started in the U.K. but they are about to global.

Ello! In search of a Hermione that has been driven to hard and becomes mentally unstable or unhinged, or from being tortured

The majority of the fics that I have found and read are obviously slow burn with Draco and Hermione hating each other at the beginning and slowly growing more fond of one another through adventure or mystery solving and other shenanigans and finally in love and the end. That's all well and good but my eyes burn from reading too much nowadays to get to the part where they are together. I would love fics where they are already together from the first chapters, and as a couple they go on to go through all kinds of struggles and hardships, whether it is work assignments or second wizarding war, any contexts really (preferablly as adults) standing side by side comforting, consoling each other through it all. Reading All that's left which is the inspiration for this request.

I feel like I'm going crazy, there was a fic when in the middle of the battle of hogwarts Voldemort but the entire area down in some magic stasis almost like a dome and the part of the magical world that was put continued life but inside the dome they were like gladiator fighting and then somehow draco and hermione have this mind connection and she enters the dome, it was so well written he was so hot

I’m looking for a fic that will hit as much as Detraquee did. It is my all time fav and basically what i’m looking for is a very very VERY slow burn, long fic during 8th year/ post war where both Draco and Hermione discover themselves while building a strong relationship. What I also really want is realistic potraits of both characters, good writing, and life changing conversations between them. Some if my other faves are green light and the fallout! Please let me know!!

I have read this fic a year or so ago and wanted to reread it. The thing that I can remember of it are that it's an 8th year fic with Hermione being resorted in to Slytherin and becoming head girl along with Draco. Also there was some Ron weasly bashing. Pls help me ID it.
