OPEN How do i fix this?

one switch is fine but the other doesnt click pls help

The fix is to replace the switch. Tracking down that exact switch may cost more than the strip.

I mean.. you could take it apart and bypass the switch, but for what they cost and the very real risk you will likely be creating (especially considering you needed to ask how). Just buy a new one.

You don't, you replace the whole board. Don't mess around with mains AC.

Dispose it and buy a new one. Some things are just not worth repairing.

Does it require something be plugged in for it to work? Could see that being some sort of safety feature

Replace the entire unit. Consumer-grade power bars were never meant to be repaired. They're meant to be disposed of as e-waste. You can get money for it at a scrap yard because the copper in the power cord is valuable today.

Instead, buy an industrial workshop-grade unit. They're serviceable and use replaceable power sockets, switches, and cables. You'll know this just by looking at it. It's usually cheaper to buy the industrial workshop-grade power bars as well.

Always ask yourself when purchasing electronics: does it look repairable and easily serviceable? Would you want to own something you can't fix or repair yourself? It would be like buying a home you can't live in. It just looks pretty from the outside, and that's where the ownership ends.
