16 year old boy arrested after Braintree town centre 'shooting'
This happened in Braintree town centre last night which my heart is my hometown, and I live near the area too. And I found out about the incident 30 minutes ago, and I just can't stop thinking about, and the fact with it being my own hometown makes it even more upsetting for me. But also why would someone want to do something like this in the first place? I have all these questions in my head which I can't seem to find an answer too.
I do apologise if I am being a bit overdramatic, but this really hits hard with me especially with it being my own hometown. š

Recovery Footwear Study: Academic research - gravely need help from fellow Essex residents!!!
durhamuniversity.qualtrics.comHey!
I'm an MSc Marketing student at Durham University researching how people view recovery footwear, which are the cushioned shoes or sandals designed to be worn after exercise.
I am hoping for this research to lead to an influx of adoption and availability in the UK markets, as it has in the US, and bring the comfort overseas!
If you are aged 18ā40, live in the UK, and take part in physical activity or have an interest in health and wellbeing, I would really value about 5 minutes of your time. I need as many responses as quickly as possible! The survey is completely anonymous and voluntary, and there are no right or wrong answers.

Thank you so much.

Tattoo Cover-up
Good morning! Does anyone have any recommendations for tattoo artists in Essex who specialise in or have good experience at tattoo cover-ups? Got something quite big that Iād like to change and would prefer not to travel into London for it so hoping to find a reputable artist in the area who can work their magic.
Thanks in advance!

Basildon Broadmayne/Great Oaks red light camera
Anyone familiar with the lights on Broadmayne turning right towards Asda/Eastgate?
I was in the right-turn lane, saw the green straight-ahead arrow and mistakenly crossed the stop line before realising the right turn was still red. I stopped just past the line and waited before turning.
Has anyone done the same thing at these exact lights? Did you get a NIP/points, or nothing? Mainly wondering if the Gatso actually monitors the right-turn lane.

Why is the borough of Chelmsford so big
Itās called the ācity of Chelmsfordā but you see this sign as far south as South Woodham Ferrers. Clearly the entire borough is not a city. Or is it?
Why is it so big? Surely it would make more sense just for the city itself to be a borough, and the surrounding areas given to neighbouring boroughs. Never understood why SWF is in Chelmsford rather than Maldon or Rochford. Anything south of the A12 in fact.
