Sun Care She was so good to me...

Post image

This sunscreen felt so nice on my face, didn't break me out, wasn't overly shiny and sold for less than 5€ for 50ml when I found it. I'm spoiled now. Trying to justify buying something that's still available like the Nivea sensitive one that performs at best similarly for 15-19€ is just too much to bear now. I just wish I could have her back 💔

Does anyone know how shiny/oily the moisturizing Revuele sunscreen is? Or how the big CeRave moisturising sunscreen is as a face sunscreen? I can't justify spending so much for so little...

Review It could have been the GOAT

Hi folks

I want to leave a short review of this moisturizer. It was recommended to me on here, and I've gotten to try it out now a couple of weeks.

I am in my mid-30s, oily-dehydrated skin type, with some mild hormonal cystic acne. I've got an issue with barrier moisturizers (like bioderma atoderm baume, lrp cicaplast, avene cicalfate, Aestura atobarrier cream, etc.) , since they often break me out, but gel moisturizers feel like nothing on my skin. The Cantabria Labs Biretix Isorepair cream did not break me out, quite the contrary - I am questioning if my skin is actually a bit calmer right now?

This would be my all time favourite moisturizer, if it didn't have such an annoying, "clean-fresh" perfume! 😩It leaves my skin feeling nourished but not heavy, it really hugs my skin in the most pleasant way. But I can't get over the scent, quite the contrary - it's bothering me more and more. It's quite intense. Not something light, powdery, but this annoying "anti pimple" kind of smell. And I don't hate all scents, but this one I unfortunately hate with passion.

So, sadly, I will not repurchase this one.

I hope this helps.

Here's my routine fwiw:

  • AM: wash with water, hydrating toner (currently No Cosmetics) or some hydrating serum, sunscreen (I have various in rotation.
  • PM: wash with dokdo cleanser (sometimes first cleanse with garnier micellar water if I use a heavy sunscreen), Aklief (every 2nd day), Biretix Isorepair moisturizer.

Review LRP Anthelios UVAIR tinted

Just want to say I bought this sunscreen in light today and it's the most cosmetically elegant tinted SPF50 I've ever bought, and I've tried and thrown away tonnes. Has hyaluronic acid, vitamin E and niacinamide and it feels it. I see that nice plumpness from the HA, feels like a serum. Not sticky or greasy, thin fluid.

Has anyone else who is very fair like me (typically Irish Uber pale) tried it? It's a bit expensive but if it saves me buying HA and niacinamide it works out cheaper. This is the first tinted LRP ss I've ever used that is not horrifically orange. Like not at all. Nada. And it feels very light. I did have to rub it in quite well but I found it knocks back some redness and under eye shadows too. Not as much as a concealer but it does a bit.

Only thing I don't like is it's quite heavily perfumed which may be a deal breaker for some, but it does go away quite quickly.

It has a natural finish but I'd probably use some powder to mattify if I was going somewhere special, having combo skin.

I don't usually wear foundation, but this looks like a light foundation coverage to me.

I gave up on LRP a while ago but this has lured me back.

Think I may buy the medium shade too to use as a bronzer effect, as I hate the feel of makeup on my face. I use a red tinted ss as a blush/bronzer currently. 😂

Product Question Geek & Gorgeous Hydration Station cream?

Hello. I'm planning to buy this cream, so I'm interested in hearing experiences from anyone who has used it or heard about it from someone 😊 I'm currently using the Dr. Althea Aqua Marine cream, and it's by far the best one I've tried so far, but I'd like to buy this one for a change. I have skin that is periodically acne-prone and combination to oily in the T-zone. From what I can see, the texture is gel-like, and I'm wondering if it feels heavy on the skin precisely because of that texture? I'm also interested to know if it smoothes out the face nicely overnight when a break-out occurs (pimple, redness...)? Since the cream I'm currently using does that for my skin, and it completely transformed my face because of it. Let me know❤️

Sun Care Which LRP Anthelios for body?

Post image

I'm putting in an order to the US on cosmetis (side q- how has your experience with this site been?) for European sunscreen; never ordered sunscreen from Europe before. Don't want to do care to beauty because of the crazy markup on anthelios, and I'm trying to order riemann p20 kids as well which I can't find on many other sites. They don't have the regular UVmune lotion, which is what I actually want, so I'm deciding between anthelios sport, regular anthelios, and UVmune kids. Does UVmune provide better protection than the regular anthelios line, in which case should I go with kids? How is the feel of each formula? I'm planning on using these for outdoor days that don't involve swimming (p20 will be for water activities); could be hiking/sports or just hanging out. I'm ordering the oil control fluid for face as well, and avene lait solaire just for fun. I have pretty hydrated skin and like the feel of light korean and japanese sunscreens.

Discussion Ultherapy Prime in Berlin?

Any recommendations? Looking for clinics (preferably medical) that use the newest model as I heard it should be less painful. Also want a real profession as I have a naturally slim/lean face and don't want to burn any facial fat..

Question Cleanser recommendations

Hello everyone! I have been using La Roche Posay Toleraine Soin Lavant cleanser for some time now. Recently I noticed that the formula contains niacinamide which my skin doesn't like. I would really appreciate some suggestions of similar non drying face cleanser formulas that don't contain niacinamide. Every suggestion is appreciated.

Question Geek&Gorgeous Power Peptides chemical smell

Hi everyone. I'm a lover of Geek&Gorgeous and a regular user of the Power Peptides serum. I just opened a fresh bottle and was surprised by a strong smell, like alcohol or something similar. Normally the serum does not have a noticeable scent. The serum also did not feel as nourishing and plumping as it usually does.

Has anyone else had this experience? I don't think the product has been reformulated, so I assume this might be a bad batch? This is the use by/batch number: 19.05.2028 B26139

I bought it at either a dm or Rossmann store in Germany, I can't remember which.

I am planning to contact customer services as soon as I am back home.

Review Azelaic Acid, Tretinoin and Retinol confusion

Hello everyone, I’m a beginner and new to azelaic acid, tretnoin and retinol. As someone who’s going through acne, acne scars and pigmentation I am thinking of shifting to these chemical peeling as I have heard a lot bout it on Insta and Google. But confused bout which brand should I consider buying these active peelings from as there are a lot and I’m confused and how to layer it? Let me know the moisturiser and sunscreen to be used too
If someone is using it right now or have used it please tell me pros and cons and guide me how to use to it. It would be a favour. 🩷

Question Any experience buying LRP at olive young stores in Korea?

Currently in Korea and see that the olive young stores seem to have a lot of euro skincare and sunscreens. I’m from America so it’s impossible to buy the euro formulations due to tariffs and bans on the UV filters. The prices aren’t too bad at around $19 for a bottle.

Are these LRP sunscreens the same formulation as in France? I assume they don’t have to change their formula like they do in the United States as sunscreens are categorized as “cosmetic” in Korea and not medicine like in the US. They only seem to have the invisible fluid ones that are nonfragrant. Will definitely stock up though as I have no Europe trips planned in the near future!

First Impression Hada Labo

Post image

I have finally bought this Hada Labo cream and hyaluronic acid… i have been using the one produced in Poland but found out that the original company is actually this one from Japan. I’m pretty satisfied… my skin is dry, slightly atopic. I was scared that this gel cream is gonna feel unpleasant on my face like a layer but it’s actually moisturizing nicely. Have you tried it?
