Arc Readers please help with me. (This is my own writing)
Hey everyone I have finished the first book of my series (not professionally edited) but I really could use some constructive criticism and or tell me if it’s worth a damn if anyone is interested please lmk. Here is the description:
The Heir of Shadows
Mason was a blacksmith. A husband. A father.
He had never wanted power. He had never wanted glory.
Then his brother, Prince Benjamin, is murdered—and Mason is blamed.
In a single night, everything he loves is taken from him. His wife and children are executed, his home is destroyed, and Mason is left with nothing but grief and a thirst for vengeance.
Then something answers.
An ancient being known only as the Shepherd offers Mason a bargain: the power to avenge those who wronged him, in exchange for his soul.
Mason accepts.
But every gift has a price.
As Mason learns to wield the darkness, he discovers that death is not as simple as he once believed. The dead do not always pass peacefully, and the shadows hiding beyond the veil are far older than any kingdom.
Far from Mason, another life is being shaped by forces she cannot understand.
Alexandra has spent her life surviving the cruelty of others. A slave, a fighter, and a woman who has learned to endure what should have broken her, she expects nothing from the world but another day to survive.
Until something begins watching over her.
Something ancient.
Something gentle.
Something that does not want her to survive merely for herself.
As darkness gathers around Mason and a mysterious light begins to awaken within Alexandra, their paths are drawn toward a conflict neither of them understands.
One has been chosen by Death.
The other may have been chosen by Life.
And neither knows what they are becoming.
I’d like to lean into traditional publishing but I would really just like for people to read this story and give me thoughts it would be so amazing. Thank you all in advance. :)

Gamehendge Fan Fiction
Hey, y’all! I love Gamehendge, so I decided to write some fan fiction about it. I was curious about Roger, Errand Woolfe’s son.
I wanted to know why Wilson suspected him of treason, and why was Roger so dangerous that Wilson had to be executed.
I began writing about Roger, and the story grew into an origin story for the rebellion against Wilson. This is a prequel to Gamehendge.
Here is a brief description of the book:
ROGER THE RELUCTANT REBEL
Roger Woolfe never wanted to be a rebel.
He only wanted to help.
But when helping starving Lizards brings him into conflict with King Wilson, Roger discovers that there is far more at stake than a few sacks of grain.
With his Phriends beside him, Roger begins a journey into the mysteries of the Helping Friendly Book, the Sacred Rhombus, and the strange force that connects every Lizard in Gamehendge.
The Phlow provides.
But Roger will have to discover what it means to listen.
A Gamehendge fan-fiction novel about friendship, rebellion, sacrifice, and finding your own song.
I have published the first chapter on WattPad, and there will be more to come!
