First of all, this is not exactly Pattaya-specific and I apologize for that, but I couldn't find a better subreddit to post in - those regular Thailand or Bangkok subreddits have far more "normal" content and mine is probably not appropriate. It might however be relevant to the experiences of farangs in both Bangkok and Pattaya, and I would love to hear the experiences of others here, and to understand how common it is.
I go to Thailand once every 1.5 to 2 months on average for work (each time for about a week). Other weeks I'm mostly traveling around the region.
On one of the trips, I went to one of the F shops on Sukhumvit Soi 22, and went back to this nice lady (early 30s, slim, no tattoos, quite pretty in my eyes) a few times on 2-3 trips.
She was more passionate than most - a lot of GFE, hugging, DFK blah blah, always did her hardest to give me a good time. Unfortunately she doesn't know much English though, but I got to learn bits and pieces about her through simple words and Google translate.

Of course I (took the initiative to) foot all the food bills but I'm happy to (and she makes it a point to thank me after every meal) and anyway it's quite cheap as I never eat at high end places, so I have zero problems.
She is also very polite to everyone she sees - waitstaff, grab drivers, people outside etc, maybe it's how all Thais behave but it's something I really liked.
When we go to a pharmacy etc, she just takes the initiative to pay for her own skincare/hygiene products, and I let her.
Overall it was honestly great.. daytime I either work/meet clients, or go out with her if I'm free, and at night we always have mindblowing sex (one thing - she sometimes tells me no "boom boom" (jokingly? can't tell) when we're in my room, but once I start licking her nips or frenching her, she starts going crazy and becomes a nympho. It's not hard at all to make her go for 2 rounds a night).
On one of the nights I accidentally entered her raw while we were fooling around in the bathtub, and when we progressed to the bed I continued that way. Another thing is, we actually hardly text once I'm out of Bangkok, maybe 1 or 2 texts every few days and we could go weeks without texting until I tell her I'm coming "next week".
Her background: She is from Isan and she has a child with a Thai husband from fairly long ago.. her parents take care of the child. She used to run a few mookata shops but things turned sour with her husband who turned into a gaming and gambling addict (who eventually took his own life when she left him - she opened this info up to me recently), and after she closed all the shops, she worked for 4 years in Korea in a massage parlour (something she shared quite early on). She had a BF while working there for a while, but eventually ended the r/s when she was caught in a raid and had to leave Korea.
What's going on here? I'm expecting that she might be freelancing (surely her newly started online clothing business can't be earning her much given there's so much competition), yet she doesn't hide her phone at all while with me (she's mostly just on tiktok/instagram/facebook doomscrolling, calling family sometimes, or texting her friend occasionally in Thai). And she never asks me to buy her anything, and doesn't even want to shop when we're together. I had to force her to buy a swimsuit before we left for Hua Hin, lol.). I feel like I don't want to probe her too much as she might not want me to see her that way (if she's really freelancing), yet if she's really freelancing, I can understand as well. Her background isn't exactly squeaky clean and she's had stints in Korea and Bangkok as a WL.
Am I overthinking this.. is it just because she simply likes being with me and therefore doesn't ask me for anything else... yet? She doesn't see me as a BF (and I know she knows that I don't see her as a GF - because she tells me sometimes that she feels fat as she eats too much when I'm with her, and she needs to slim down as she doesn't have a BF yet - and I didn't counter at all). Though we behave totally like couples outside, lots of hugging, affection etc. I'm not complaining about anything at all but the whole relationship feels a little weird to me.
