Doesn't he also want to cut down the cherry trees in DC? I thought I read that as well.

He hates anything beautiful because deep down he knows he's an ugly rotting orange.

he already did, they're all gone for his big beautiful golf course.

That makes me sad, I never got a chance to go see them in bloom in person and now I never will.

The main ones in the tourist area are still there. I live in DC. He cut down some on a different federal property. They were still part of the official gift from Japan and its still unacceptable but if you want to come see the main cherry blossoms by the water and the monuments they are still there.

Oh good! I mean not good that he cut down trees, but at least there are still some to see for now!
